You Told Your Parents About Me?

Sorry about the slow update! I'm just a lazy fart and can't seem to get my stuff together.

Futakuchi went home thinking about his new friends. Aone was a bit quiet and in most of his classes. He seemed to be the gentle giant type. The big guy was very good at showing what he meant through grunts and small words. His voice was deep yet delicate. He reminded Futakuchi of a big glass bull (big, beautiful and easily broken).

Akaashi on the other hand was like a mother hen. He seemed like he was slowly putting together a list of Bokuto's weaknesses (Maybe Futakuchi could help with that?). He was a little less sarcastic than the sour patch kid (Futakuchi). He had this sweetness to him that would come out and surprise you at the perfect time. His backpack is also full of almost everything anyone has ever invented. Bokuto seems to already have a crush on him. Stupid owl, you're gonna wear him out. He already looks like he doesn't get a wink of sleep and the next thing Bokuto's gonna do is get his number then proceed to call him at three in the morning with an "incredibly important question".

Futakuchi gets home to see books on his bed again, great. Futacuchi's mom is a book worm. She also doesn't care about other people's space.

"Mom! You did the thing again!" He shouts towards the direction of his door. His mom doesn't hear him because of her habit of ignoring reality. It's not a bad thing but it seems to get her in trouble with his mother. (Yes, I made his moms gay. Why? Because 🙂) It's also why she can't cook. You would think that being home for half the week and reading like a mad woman; she would have read a cookbook in her time. Not a chance! Futakuchi's mom strictly sticks to fantasy and science fiction. The good thing is she can handle pretty much anyone's emotions easily, but she doesn't tend to use her super power.

There was an enthusiastic slam of the front door. Futakuchi instantly knew who it was. "Mother, one day your gonna brake the door down and all mom's hard work on it'll be ruined!"

"Well hello to you too Kenji!" Her voice was both energetic and extremely tired.

"Long day at work hun?" He heard his mom from the kitchen.

"It wasn't too bad. Joana pulled a soccer mom and couldn't stop talking about her preschooler's first day. Speaking of first day.." she raised her voice, "get down her Kenji I want to hear about your school day!" Futakuchi wanted to scream at her to put a sock in it like he always did but he actually had something interesting to talk about this time. He sighed, getting up from his bed and sulking down the stairs.

"Cheer up sour patch kiddo." His mother ruffled his hair.

"First, stop doing that. Second, I got two new friends!" Him mom smiled at him as he tried his best to fix his hair.

"New friends! Spill the beans!" His mother demanded with sparkling eyes. How could she not? Her kid was making new friends! They sat at the counter and Kenji told his parents all about his day and what his new friends were like.

"I would have thought that your new friends would be as chaotic as you and Kotaro. By what you've shared so far they actually seem stable." His mom stated with her hands intertwined holding up her chin. "That was rude. What I meant was they seem calm. You and Kotaro run loose in different ways."

"You have to invite them for dinner." His mother said it as if it were a suggestion but he knew that he was now expected to bring one of them home by the end of the week. What a drag.

The next day he told his new friends about it and Aone just asked "You told your parents about me?"

"Yes, can one of you come over for dinner this week?" Akaashi shook his head.

"Bokuto has my number and I'm pretty sure I'll be busy for a while now."

"How did that even happen that fast?" He looked at him with a blank face, then looked at Aone. Wow, throwing people under the bus is extremely easy for that tired teenager "Anyway. Aone could you maybe spare me from my crazy moms for a night. They act like normal people when I have a friend over." He looks like he's contemplating the sour patch's fate. He looks him dead in the eye and nods.
