Nyx let out a sigh as she walked around her own place, finally able to convince Lucifer that she was fine and could be left alone for a little while. Too much had happened in the 48 hours and she was really just wanting to be left alone to take everything in.

She turned her phone off, not wanting any interruptions as she walked over to her balcony that she had still yet to use, pulling the blinds open before stepping out. She took in a deep breath of fresh air. They had been stuck at the station for a while with Dan and Chloe, going over everything between the new bow and arrow murder and the department still touching over Rike's death paperwork.

It was now around 3 am as the city lights kept the sky lit. Nyx would usually be itching to be out and about right now, drinking a liquor store and partying. Now, the peace was welcoming. Soft giggles left her lips as she watched random people bypass underneath her on their liquid courage-filled adventures.  Although she was extremely tired, her mind raced and would be damned to ever fall asleep. Nyx leaned against the railing, a slight breeze blowing her stark white hair.

She still had no recollection of that memory with her mom ever happening, and it quite frustrated her. She just could not fathom not remembering things about her mother. She cherished her and her childhood.

Her light blue eyes veered up to stare at the moon, which shined brightly on the City of Angels.

Without even noticing, she zoned out once again.

"My sweet, sweet child," Pandora whispered, her finger gentle rubbing the plump cheek on the youngling she held in her arms.

"She must always know of who she is. The spawn of Chaos."

"She is also my child," Pandora snapped, her soft voice becoming stern to the man who stood before her, his dark robe covering his figure. "For I birthed her from my wound. Bringing life to a world without balance."

"Her name is Khaio. Per Chaos thyselves naming."

Before Pandora could respond, the man before her disappeared, causing her to release a sigh. A soft whimper caught her attention, causing her to look down at the child in her arms wrapped in a black cloth.

"Shh, my dear." She soothed, smiling wide when large purple eyes opened to stare at her in wonder. The moonlight shined perfectly on the baby's dark head of hair, illuminating the child in the dark of the night.

"Nyx." Her quiet voice stated happily as the baby craned her neck to look around. "You shall be named Nyx. For you were given to me in the dark...but you shall bring this world such light."

Nyx let out a soft gasp as she snapped out of the memory.

"Khaio!" She exclaimed excitedly, finally able to put a meaning for the bizarre name she had been called. "I have to tell Lucifer!''

Nyx quickly threw on a jacket and shoes before rushing out of the apartment, making sure to grab her keys. It's quite a surprise she did not wreck with how hastily she drove to Lux, the loud club music audible even out in the streets. She quickly parked the car before rushing inside the club, thankful the security guard recognized her from earlier.

She grimaced a bit when she entered the nightclub, the loud music threatening to give her a headache. Standing at the top of the stairs, she scanned the crowd for Lucifer. Right when she was about to go up to the penthouse, she spotted him on one of the extended couches, surrounded by others.
