You knew who he was, you were well acquainted with the orca of a man. You knew basically every little detail he would reveal about himself, as you were friends, you knew he'd be pretty interesting in bed as well.

There you were, sitting at Maekami's bar, drinking a glass of rum and cola, alone. As you sip on your drink, you feel a very familiar presence as he sat beside you, it was Idate.

"Hm... It's a nice night, ain't it~?" He snarked towards you, you sighed and put your glass down. "Yeah, it is, what took you so long to get here..?" You question the man, he just shrugged his shoulders and chuckled a little "I dunno, I just got distracted on my way here, besides, I'm only a few minutes late.." you sighed once again, chuckling a little afterwards.

"So be it then, wanna go outside and smoke?" You ask the whale, he nods with a stupid smirk and you finish the last of your drink, before paying the bartender what you owed him.

"So....." Idate begins. "What? Hand me the damn cigarette and light this shit for me!" You said ecstatically. "Well first, I wanna ask ya a little something, y/n.." you just stood there confused, kinda anticipating that he was going to ask a certain question you've been hoping for since you first met and got to know the man, that he felt the same way towards you, love, admiration, lust.

Before he said anything, he lit his cigarette, taking a long drag and then exhaling all that smoke "...so, how do I put this..?" He seemed nervous almost, definitely not in character for a man like him at all and it feels like he's confirming your very suspicions.

"Yeah...? Take your time, I don't got anywhere to go, I'm free for the entire night, probably even the next few days." You joked a little, though there was truth to that response to him.

"Well.... It's hard to confess, it's always been hard for me to do shit like this..." He let out a hardy chuckle, almost like he was avoiding it and still deciding if he really wanted to say those certain words or not. You were just slightly annoyed and nervous now as well, since he was taking so long.

"Gods, I fuckin' suck at this... Y/n I have feelings for you and I wanted to ask if we could.... Do certain things with each other.." he let out a massive sigh after he said that, looking off to the side and putting his cigarette to his mouth. This is what you've been waiting for, after years of knowing that goddamn orca and getting close to him, you finally caught his attention and his heart.

You could almost cry, being confessed to instead of the other way around was rare, as a lot of people can't build up the courage to do so, but he was, it just showed him how strong he truly was mentally as well, that he could actually do something like that, like many others cannot. He probably knew he had won you over already, probably from the day you two first met and started hanging out together.

Now, there you were, back at your place with the orca you now consider a lover, to think how quickly that all happened just several hours ago, now in his arms, getting ready to do some unsavory acts after snuggling with him and watching movies together.
