"New day of school" Ema said in a quiet voice. As Ema looked around she saw a girl in poor clothes walking with a almost ripped backpack. They said we were going outside  early in the morning we were gonna wear gas masks. Ema was very worried that she would not breath much. As she got her mask the teachers told Annie and the rest how to put them on. Annie put her mask on the girl with ragged clothes was having trouble. Ema walked over to help her "hi! " said Ema in a cheerful voice "hi... " said the girl in a quite low voice Ema could barely hear  her because of the mask. "Do you need help? " said
Ema raising one hand to her chest "yes please" the girl said taking her hands of the mask. Ema fixed her mask. "Hey what's your name?" Ema asked. "My name is Ollie"." Nice name". Ema walked off and the girl waved. Ema tried to breath but the mask is blocking her breath. When school ended for the day Ema took her mask off and walked home she would dance home but she did not feel like it so she just walked. Ema did not greet her parents and sat down looking at the floor. Her papa was reading a news paper about Germany attacking and setting war on country and being victorious. "What are you reading papa? " asked Ema walking over to her dad. "Nothing you do not have to worry about it" said papa in a straight face. Ema's mama went to tell Ema go help her little brother. Annie has 3 brothers edan, Alex and adam. Adam was the youngest so Ema helped him alot . Night came and it was blackout everything was black. Ema and her others were sleeping. All was pitch black because of Germany threating to come to England and attacking. Ema had one eye open when she heard mama and papa talk about having war in England. Ema was scared and she knew that she and her country were in danger
