Chapter 1

Emily Cooper got out of bed to get ready for school that morning. She hated school, she got bullied and had no friends. She had changed herself over the summer becoming a bratty girl and dressing up more to get friends but she got none. So, she promised promised herself that right after summer, she would just go back to school her normal self with black clothing with a beanie covering her black hair and her headphones on her neck as usual.
That morning, she decided to dress up a little out of her comfort zone. She had her shower, brushed her teeth and played out her clothes on the bed. She got dressed in a black flower paterned top, blue jeans and a blue faded denim jacket with her wavy brown hair falling on her shoulders bouncing about and also she wore the black heels that her sister got her for her birthday, in hopes of getting her to wear heels.

She then brought out her black sling bag that had 'FUCK OFF' written boldly across it with Black Capital letters and her black headphones

As she got downstairs, she met her mum, dad and sister staring at her mouths agape. They were supride to she their daughter/sister dressed up.
"You look amazing lil sis", said Jenny.She was glad to see Emily all dressed up cause it was the first time. She thought her sister looked so beautiful, but she knew that Emily might've been thinking otherwise because she was really insecure.
" Yea, yea whatever. If you think this going gonna become a regular thing, well it's not" said Emily rolling her eyes while Jenny just chuckled.
Jenny drove her to school and they got there by 8:35 , that was a bit too early for Emily.
"8:35 sis, you've got to be kidding me. That's too early" said Emily shaking her head at Jenny because school started 10:00. So she was 1 hour early.
'Yeah, yeah. By the way, I'm babysitting the Anderson's tonight. So, game night with the Anderson kids ?" said Jenny questioned directing it to Emily.
"Trey Anderson ??" Asked Emily with a dreamy smile.
"Yeah" Jenny replied mockingly at her sister's crush on the boy who never noticed her and had a huge crush on Jenny.
"Can I wear sweatpants and a tank top with a jean jacket and my black converse ??" Asked Emily hopefully already planning out an outfit that she thought looked cool.
"Sure sis. If that makes you happy" said Jenny grinning at her little sister.
"Thanks Jenny. You're the best" said Emily grinning back at her big Sis while hugging her.
She pushed open the door of the school and walked into the school, staring into the slightly empty halls.
She made her way to her locker while tugging on her school bag.
She dropped her bag in it and picked her phone out.
She then checked her schedule to see what she had first and saw she had a breakfast detention at 9:30.
She closed her locker and walked off to find out what she would be doing for the next 1 hour.
She walked over to the music room and opened the doors to find it empty.
She walked in and spotted a blue acoustic guitar with red and blue heart break shatter signs at the end of the room.
She walked up to it and touched it. She picked it up and sat down, setting it down on her lap.
She begun playing a song she wrote earlier the day before :

Time Skip :

Emily walked into her breakfast detention, to see Trey sitting at the front row locking lips with some blonde bimbo and his two sidekicks sitting at the first 2 seats at the back row.
She rolled her eyes to hide the pain of wanting to cry and passed by them to give Mr Howards, the dentiton teacher, her slip.
She then walked to the seat at the back of the class, right next to Trey's best friend Lucas, who was dating her best friend Regina.
So to say the least, they were mutual and kinda, sorta friends.
"Hey Emily, what are you doing here ? I thought you and Regina had plans today" asked Lucas. "Well, I got detention so...." replied Emily trailing off.
"What did you do this time ?" Asked Lucas amused.
"You know Mr Howards right ??" she asked back.
"Mhmm.." he replied.
"He gave us a project on a life composition and graded me an F before he gave it and when I reported to the principal, he yelled at me and gave me detention." she said.
"Why" he asked.
"So basically, the last project he gave us was about summing up nutrients. When it was my turn to present my project......" She replied before Trey's other friend, Adam cut in and said,
"........She ate an orange threw it in his face, burped and called him a slacky dumbo but he ended up giving her a B".
" and that doesn't deserve a B+" she questioned jokingly.
Lucas and Adam both laughed at her while grinning, she then later joined them in.
"Could you guys shut it" shouted the bimbo on Trey's lap whose name was Katie.
"Could you guys give it a rest" replied Lucas in the same tone. While Adam and Emily snickered.
Trey then all of a sudden, pushed her of his lap while she pouted at him and said, "But I skipped breakfast for this."
"Sorry sweety, but Trey always has a new girl on his arm every week. So, I guess you were just his hoe of the week" Emily sneered at her angrily while the bimbo stormed off and out of the classroom.
"Well, when you put of like that, you make me seem like a bad person" replied Trey to Emily's statement.
"She didn't even have detention" said Lucas laughing.
"Can you blame her. I'm irresistible" said Trey cockily.
"Apparently, the girls in this school are blind" muttered Emily while the two boys beside her failed to muffle their laughs.
'Unfortunately, he's interested in every one of them except me' she thought to herself.
"Oh pls ! Don't try to deny that you don't have a crush on me. I mean, who wouldn't.." Said Trey, directing it to her.
"You wish" she scoffed.
"You mean, you wish" corrected Trey.
"Whatever, everyone knows you like my sister. Its so weird to see you flirting with her at times.
I swear your hoes are just a rebound". Replied Emily teasingly.
Trey became flushed while Emily thought angrily to herself, 'You're so in love with my sister that you don't realise how in love with you I am and how it hurts me that you don't see me as anything more than Jenny's little sister.'
"Dude she totally pulled a, 'This you ?' On you" Adam said grinning at Trey mockingly.
The bell rung as Trey was about to respond with a snarky comment, signalling that the detention was over.
"Bye losers" said Emily grabbing her bag and walking out of the class.
