Cold breeze would keep passing by like how the atmosphere of night usually was, and Eztia's long, slightly wavy jet black hair would be blown. Sometimes the breeze would also tickle her exposed skin as she strode alone while she was hearing one of her favourite songs that had gotten edited into a slowed version. The girl did not know what the reason was, but she recently loved slowed songs. The original version was great -- however, the slowed one always hit differently.
A buzz from inside one of the pockets of her light blue oversized hoodie was felt, which indicated that there was a new notification in her phone. Putting her hand into the pocket and taking her phone, the girl almost dropped her precious phone due to an excitement erupting within her once she saw what the notification told her. It was a new chapter of one of Webtoons she liked, it was Lookism! She had been reading it for six years, which meant she was around ten or eleven years old back at that time.
She thought, at first, the Webtoon was more into a drama since she just only saw from the cover, but it turned out to be an action one. However, she did not mind, not at all, and instead she wanted to thank the author for creating such a masterpiece. For the reason that Lookism had caused her to have a motivation to do something she never thought she would do.
Martial arts; she had tried many types of fighting styles, such as: muay thai, karate, boxing, kungfu, and much more. Nonetheless, even if she had been trying and learning all of those, it did not mean she had mastered them or she was an expert. She thought that she still needed some time although she had been learning them for about two years. She was quite a slow learner, wasn't she? Therefore, she would always bring a stainless steel staff with her. The staff, of course, was a portable one and that was why she could carry it everywhere she went.
Eztia tapped the notification gleefully and began to read the new chapter, shivering slightly. She did not know the cause of the shiver was whether because of the cold breeze or because of the excitement she was feeling though. Well, it could be because of the breeze as she wore white short shorts and a pair of white long cotton thigh high socks that reached over her knees.
Too immersed with how the new chapter was going as well as what happened in it, the girl was not aware of her surroundings slowly starting to alter. She also was not aware that the sky that originally was dark and filled with the moon along with stars had altered into a bright sky with the sun glaring. Well, not until she was done reading and put her phone back in her pocket before looking up that now she did realize.
Blinking her eyes once, blinking twice, thrice before rubbing them to make sure if the view she had seen right now was not a hallucination or something.
Everything… everything had changed…! This was not the country she was living in for years, this one totally looked different. The buildings… she had never seen those buildings before. The atmosphere of this place where she was now, too, felt different and unfamiliar yet familiar at the same time.
It feels almost as if in… Eztia's thoughts trailed off as her light blue honey gradient coloured orbs landed on a large banner of restaurant that had some language she really knew. Korea…
Mind of the girl went blank before a smile rose up to her rosy lips as she shook her head; she must be still in her own country. She meant, there was no way a person could go to another world or dimension without their knowing, that was ridiculous. But… that did not explain why it was suddenly morning. Also, the passersby… their faces did not have the characteristics like the people's faces in her country, they were more asian-like.
