Chapter 10 : Please don't do this

Peridots POV:

fucking lapis, and her fucking ways of making someone feel fucking special Fuck FUCK fuck

I thought as I finished the milk bottle and shaked it with the baby in my left arm. Lapis was watching me on the other side of the counter she was smiling but I just grumbled and turns around to boil some water. She sneaked up behind my wrapped my stomach from behind me. "If this is gonna become a regular thing I swear to God" I said as she slowly moved her arms around my shoulders and kiss my cheek "you swear to much" she said before she released. She grabbed Steven and the bottle out of my hand and sat down in my black couch "loosen up a little Peri" she snorted as she softly puts the bottle.in the babies mouth reassuring he's okay she cooed in his ears softly before she giggled "He reminds me of our mother so much" she said as she cradled the baby. "What was she like?" I asked as I made my way towards her and sat beside her leaning on the other side of the couch. "She was tall, beautiful and obsessed with pink" she smiled "Even her wedding dress was a light pink" she held the baby a bit tighter. "It was just Her, my dad, my twin sisters and I. But about a month Steven was born. She took my two sisters and left a note saying she couldn't handle it anymore, and decided that her and my dad should care for two children each." She started to silently sob "I think it's because Steven is diagnosed Gastroschisis.. luckily we had the money for the surgery for him." She began to unwrap the child's clothing and reveal a scar right beside his belly button almost as if it was on his belly button. "She probably couldn't bear with this kind of responsibility and such. But the survival rate of this disease is 90% luckily he was one of them." She stopped talking as she wrapped him back up "well that's my story nerdidot, what's yours?" I tensed my body up and began to blush "it's not really a story, it's quite boring actually"
"Bore me then, I obviously have nothing else to do" she said as she cradled the child.
"My life started out when I began an interest in fixing my electronics as a kid, I didn't have much to do so I was always into those kinds of things" I shifted my legs to cross on the couch before I continued "my mom and dad already had a huge business so struggles wasn't really something we worried for. But when I became 15 I told my mom and dad I didn't want to leave the house" I stopped to take a breather "Because at the time I had a girlfriend, she and I have been together for a year already and with the money my parents had. I had enough to keep the house" I could feel my eyes becoming dry "she moved in and we went to school together.. everything seemed normal and happy" my eyes began to water "until one day when she was out I thought that I should go run out as well far after she left. But.." I breathed deeply "I went to her favorite store to buy her that dress she wanted to buy but couldn't, but when I turned the corner I saw her with some other guy. And when I got home I threw out all of her stuff and kicked her out"
"Damn that's a real bitch" Lapis said as she pulled the bottle out of the babies mouth and set him up to burp him. "Yeah I guess" I answered "does she go to our school?" She looked at me patting Stevens back gently "No, I moved schools she goes to Homerkins High" she looked concerned at my answer but gave me a soft grin before leaning over me "I won't do that to you" she whispered in my ear before pecking my cheek. I smiled and relaxed a bit

*Time skip like a week because the author is lazy *

Me and Lapis still talk, we also got closer she likes coming over my house. (A/n: hehehehehe)  her and Jasper broke up the next day after she found out what he did to me. And obviously he found out I told her he's been more of an ass to me then most days. Fucking asshole can't leave me alone for one second but who cares.  Thursday Lapis didn't come to school because she had to take Steven to the doctors while her dad went to work. School just finished and I was walking to the bus stop with my earphones in my ears and my head down. My hands were in my black hoodie that had a green alien in the middle and baggy jeans with my white champion shoes

My backpack slacked at least 5inches away from my back. I was listening to sueco - Sober/Hungover(ft.Arizone Zevera)

And wasn't paying attention to my surroundings. I didn't hear another pair of feat following me, I didn't even see it on the side of my eye. I wasn't paying any attention and that was my biggest regret. When I turned a corner into an alley way for a short cut home I heard someone yell my name and when I turned around taking my earphones off to see who it was. "Can I-" *bang*
