The press stops and Kokichi crawls out. He runs as fast as he can (which isn't very because the poison is wearing him out) to Shuichi's dorm. He knocks on the door, calmly at first, but he knows that he only has a small amount of time before he dies outside of his crush's room. He knocks louder, no response, what was he expecting, it's the middle of the night. He knocks as loudly as he can, he's desperate to see the love of his life one last time. A few minutes go by. He starts crying, he wants Shuichi, just seeing him would be enough, just one quick glance would do. He's in too much pain. He gives up. He writes a note with his blood on the door and falls asleep just outside the detective's door, never to wake again.
