hello and welcome to Long Story Short,

I wanna start by saying thank you for your interest in reading this book. It means a lot to me. 

The inspiration for this book was simply the constant phrase coming from Swifties that would say "mom and dad" to Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn. So I just thought it'd be cool to imagine a world where they had kids. 

I also want to state that the conversations, posts, and everything in this book is completely fiction and not real. There is no real Elliana Alwyn, Andrew Alwyn, or Victoria Alwyn. Although some of the characters are real people, the actions that are in this book are not true. 

A warning I would like to make is this book does contain heavy situations that are linked to emotional and mental abuse. If you feel uncomfortable at any given moment, please don't read this book. 

I also wanted to thank my new friend, Rory, for allowing me to use her character Penelope "Penny" Lahey in this book. I don't know which book will make it out first, but Rory's book will be completely amazing. 

Rory Taylor (3rorytaylor3) is the person that convinced me to write. Seeing how happy and dedicated she is to writing The Only Exception (which is one of the best fanfics I've ever read when it comes to criminal minds) has made me very inspired. I was skeptical about writing, but she assured me that writing on here.

Rory Taylor is an amazing writer, so please show her some love. 

She also didn't want credit for it, but she's the one that edit's my story. Make's it look nice. She came up with the concept of the book name and art. She made the edit for Ellie's Instagram. She's the one that comes up with most of the captions for Ellie's post. (Sorry Rory)

This is one of the first times I am writing on Wattpad, though I have many original works that are not about real people. Maybe I'll post one day. Who knows...
