Remus and Sirius had just gotten Lilith down to bed and were getting ready for bed themselves. Recently their best friends, James, and Lily Potter, had been murdered by Voldemort or, He who shall not be named, they knew who had told him where they were, it was none other than their other best friend, Peter Pettigrew, but the ministry wouldn't listen to them.
They changed into their pajamas and while Remus read a book on the corner of the couch, Sirius shoved himself so he was being held by him, this caused a little giggle from Remus. Suddenly there was a knock at the door, the person behind the knock was obliviously not very happy, as the knock was very loud and hard. Remus folded the corner of the page inward and set his book on the table, Sirius sat up as Remus got up and headed for the door.
Remus opened the door to find an Auror "Hello, is Sirius Black here by chance?" the unknown auror asked "Yes he is. why may I ask?" replied Remus "Well we need to see him for questioning," the Auror said firmly. Remus gestured his head for Sirius to come to the door. Sirius walked over, Remus stepped aside allowing Sirius to step in front of him.
"I'm not answering any questions," Sirius said. There was now lots of fighting and yelling going on causing Lilith to wake. Remus rushed upstairs to get her; he grabbed her and hurried downstairs to get back to Sirius. He ran back to the living room to find that Sirius, the love of his young life, was being dragged away to one of the most dreaded places for a wizard, Azkaban. Tears streamed down his face as he heard Sirius's voice saying "I love you" one last time. Just like that, he was gone. Remus dragged the baby basinet to the living room and laid Lilith inside it. He sat down on the couch and with his head in his hands he cried harder than he had ever dried before. Remus hardly got any sleep that night knowing that Sirius was going through hell right now. In the blink of an eye, Lilith was now 11 and awaiting her Hogwarts letter. Remus told her about her papa but she didn't quite understand, so he would just wait until she was a bit older and explain to her again.
