Chapter Two

We sat in silence the whole way to my house. I looked at Aaron trying to tell if he was mad or upset but he just drove looking ahead with this strait face the whole time. When we got to me house we both went inside.

"You want a snack?" "Not really. Are your brothes here?" "No its just us." "Ok let's go to your room.

We went up to my room and shut the door.

"What the hell Dillon?" Aaron yelled at me. I just stood there so scared. Aaron had never yelled at me like that befor I had done it this time.

"Why haven't you said anything Dillon, come on, why did Jake kiss you?" "Because me and Jake are together." I said quietly hoping that he heard me so that I wouldn't have to repeat it. "Like boyfriend and girlfriend." "Yes." I whispered. How long?" "About a month."

"What the fuck is wrong with you Dillon! You should've told me this. I thought we told each other every thing. I haven't ever keeped something from you. But it looks like you have."

I busted out crying. He wouldn't understand why I hadn't told him. And I already felt bad enough about this.Now he's making me feel worse.

"Dillon no don't cry come here." He wrapped me in a hug letting me cry on his shoulder. "Dillon I'm so sorry I'm just so up set that you didnt tell me." "I didn't tell because I know this was how you were going to react and I was going to tell you soon." "Dillon I acted like this because you didn't tell me." "I'm sorry next time I well tell. But now it is your turn to talk."

We sat down on my bed. "What have you been doing." "Dillon I don't know ho to say this to you but my mom she has cancer." I saw a tear fall down his cheek. "Aaron I'm so sorry I well be here for you if you need anything at all I am here." " I know."

Aaron was veary close to his his mom she was all he had. When he was ten his dad left and never came back. Aaron's mom's name was Catherine and she was really nice and she loved me. She has two kids, Aaron and his little brother Patrick and she always liked me because I was a girl. I guess she wanted one just never had one.She acted like I was her daughter.

"Aaron come here." This time I hugged Aaron letting him cry on my shoulder. "Is there anything I can do for you." "Well since you asked, I wanted to get my mom some flowers she loves flowers. Will you come with me?" "Yeah anthimg."

We drove to the flower shop and bought Catherine some pretty flowers then went to Aaron's house.

"You want to come in with me?" "Yeah." Aaron was still crying, a little and I felt so bad for him he has been throw a lot and now this.

"Hey Dillon I haven't seen you on a while." It was Patrick, I gave him a hug. "Hi." "Patrick is mom in her room?" "Yeah." "Thanks." Me and Aaron walked into her room. She was lying in bed watching tv. When she saw us she smiled really big.

"Hi mom Dillon and I bought you some flowers." He put them in a vase then sat them next to the window. "Thank you Aaron come here." Aaron walked up to her bed and she gave him a big hug. " I love you mom" " I love you to honey. Look at me everything is going to be ok." "How can you be so sure about that mom?" "Because I just can now you go and do what teens do these days and don't worry about me I will be fine your bother is here to help me if I need anything. I love you." "I Love you too mom."
