Though it is hard for jungkook to let someone own his heart once again , but the words that Lucas told him before he bid goodbye just tore each piece of his broken heart from the middle painfully . He can't believe his taehyungie hyungie can go to that extent because he was hurt because of him .
Why did you do that hyung ? He mumbles to himself , lying on his bed , with every blink , the fresh stream of tears is not failing to soak his cheeks and pillow .
Flashback :-
"Is there anything I need to know ? " Lucas asks and jungkook just shakes his head .
"Why will there be anything like that ?" He asks and Lucas chuckles ,
"Cause I am seeing another jungkook in you today " jungkook looks at him confused ,
"What do you mean ?"
" You know you never had time for us and anyone else , you were always busy with yourself and company only , you had forgotten how to smile and now I am witnessing you smiling and laughing , I am overwhelmed jungkook-ah " jungkook looks down hearing the words , he feels guilty for leaving his only friends behind who did nothing but being with him in his hard time and he left them ,
" I am sorry Lucas ", Lucas shakes his head placing his hand on his ,
"Don't be kook , I know what you went through and I am so much guilty that it was all because of me " jungkook looks up at him and asks , confusion laced in his voice ,
" What do you mean by all because of you ? " Lucas takes a deep breath before saying ,
" I know I should have told you this a long time ago but taehyung asked me not to but now I just can't let you both suffer anymore so . You know why taehyung started doing all that with that girl " , jungkook shakes his head , " because someone was sending him our pics and videos in such a way that the pics were looking as if we were dating and taehyung couldn't take that when he saw a video of us kissing with the sound of you moaning my name and that night was the first time he slept with that girl to relieve his sorrow considering that you were doing the same " jungkook makes a constricted face as he lets out ,
" What the hell , we never dated , never kissed , which video are you talking about ? " Lucas pulls out his phone and shows him the exact video making jungkook's eyes go wide considering the fact that indeed the voice and the video look utterly real ,
"You were helping me with my blue swollen eye that day and the pain was unbearable so I had told you to stop but they portrayed that as a moan " jungkook mumbles to himself and Lucas nods .
"See kook , I know he shouldn't have slept with that girl even if he was convinced that you were cheating on him but you know I was with him since that award ceremony when you had fell unconscious and I had told him about everything you were going through and trust me he is guilty with his life but you know what he did to himself as a punishment for harming you ?" He asks and jungkook shakes his head while his head is hung low with tears that were dried years ago pooling in his eyes once again making him feel the feeling of having his eyes wet once again .
" He was starving for a week before he joined your company and after he left he locked himself in his room for 4 days and you know how I found him ? I found him lying on his floor with dried out tears and a blade near his hand , he was passed out ", jungkook hums . He knows that he should be feeling more like crying hearing this but his mind is not letting him as he says ,
"That's all understandable but what he did is still not forgive-able to me " Lucas hums and nods .
"I know and I am not telling you to forgive him I am just saying that you both have suffered enough now . You suffered way more than him and he has been hurting too" jungkook nods .
"Thank you for telling me this" Lucas yet again nods and they engulf themselves in some other talks .

2 days later:-
Taehyung is sitting on his office chair in his apartment office reviewing the plan he had made for tomorrow as tomorrow is something very special . He just came back from his company after finishing all his work around 9 pm . He is working hard and overtime as he has to make himself worthy of the CEO's seat his dad is going to offer him soon .
He is so ready for the seat of CEO but he is not yet ready sufficiently to occupy a title called " Boyfriend " in jungkook's life again .
He is going to take his first step tomorrow after a whole month of giving him love and showering him with his care from behind the curtains . He perfectly knows jungkook's taste and he also knows that his plan is perfect but still there is a void of fear in his heart and a voice in his head that is showing him the possibility of failing his plans badly .
He makes a few calls for confirming everything before he makes his way to his bedroom suppressing all the negatives in his head and heart . He needs a good sleep and a fresh persona for tomorrow as the day can either make it or break it for him .
