Javi bounced his foot as the team meeting went on longer than expected, the team had a weekly meeting to discuss previous battles and plan training sessions so they wouldn't clash with any events.

Javi hoped the meeting would wrap up soon, as he could feel the full moon rising and his inner wolf reacting to it. It had been almost 3 years since he had first been bitten and though Javi had managed to control his shifts, it was always hard when it was a full moon. To make things worse, it was a new moon. Meaning that the call was stronger.

Usually, Javi escaped to greeny woods and transformed there, safely away from everyone, where no one could get hurt. His dad took the night shift as there was always rebellious teenagers on Halloween and Izzy celebrated with her friends. Javi usually spent his Halloween alone in the woods as no one wanted to be friends with 'the warden's son' or 'the music freak'. All Javi had to do was hold on a little longer before...

"Javi!" Javi jumped to see Izzy staring at him, glancing around he saw the others had wandered off and were gathering their stuff. The meeting was over, Javi sighed in relief

"Ready to go to the party?" Izzy grinned at him

"What party?" Javi asked

"The party that Amelia mentioned. We're all going home to get our costumes and meeting here."

"Uh...no thanks. You know I don't do parties" Javi said, hoping his sister would drop it, the moon was almost fully out, and Javi didn't know how much longer he could hold back his wolf, who was practically screaming at him to let it loose.

"Come on! It'll be fun!"

"Izzy..."

"You never go to any social activities, why don't you come with us! You don't have to talk to anyone, you can just-"

"I said NO!" Javi snapped and Izzy's stepped back in shock, it may have been a trick of the light, but she swore Javi's eyes flashed gold

The other's attention was caught by Javi's shout, staring at the siblings in shock. Javi barely raised his voice and it was rare to see him fight with his sister.

Javi immediately felt guilty when he saw his sister step back and stare at him with a hint of fear, he didn't blame her, she only wanted to help. After all, she had tons of friends she did sports with and competed against, Javi barely had any other friends outside the Rangers.

"Izzy, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to-" Javi cut off as his wolf howled, wanting to get out and threatening to slash anyone who got in its way. "I have to go" Javi quickly teleported out of the base, leaving behind his stunned teammates and sister.
