Dreams do come true, but Nightmares don't

KP's POV,
When I saw the newspaper and the headlines i was too shocked to react. I then saw div running to her vanity, what just happened! Div got defamed coz of me, yesterday she was my responsibility and she got defamed. No! No! No! No! This cant be true I need to soothe div's pain, she must be devastated.
As I entered vanity I saw her crying, this broke my heart, I dont know how to calm down her, I just hugged her and she sobbed but calmed down. I didnt know that I have this much effect on her that she will calm down just by my presence beside her. But seeing her like this was heart peircing, she said 'she dont want to lose me'. Am I that important to her?, How can I be so attached to someone in such less time?, I pledged myself that i will not love anybody else.. again.
Finally she is convinced to go to home with Raj, I know that raj is like her brother so he can console her.
Now i can go and find that bastard who leaked the pics and spread the news.
I called my gang and Aly, Sangram.
Kp: Guys, kuchh bhi ho jaaye kal tak yeh news gayab ho jaani chahiye, mai Div ko aur suffer karte huye nhi dekh sakta.
All guys: karan you dont worry we will do something.
Kp: i have thought of a plan so that work can be simplified. Mai, aly aur sangy jaakar saare news house jaakar yeh news band karwate hai aur tum log online jitne bhi articles aur videos hai unhe delete karwao aur saare news channels se baat karke pataa lagao ki yeh news leak kisne ki hai.
All guys: Ok karan will meet you in the evening.

Kp's gang leaves only aly and sangram are here.
Aly: bhai aap bolo kahaan chalna hai.
Sangy: Mujhe pata hai sabse bada news hub konsa hai waha chalte hai mostly news wahan se nikalti hai.
Kp: thik hai wahin chalte hai.

In Aly's car,
Kp was frustated throughout the ride and grunting with anger.
Aly: bhai shaant ho jao.
Kp: kaise shant ho jaoo meri wajah se sab raita fail gayaa.
Suddenly div calls
Div: hello karan.
Kp: hii divyanka, are you fine?
Div: yeah i am fine. How are you?
Kp: i am good, solving the problem.
Div: did you guys ate something?
Kp: we will eat, you dont worry.
Div: how can i not? You guys are doing so much for me.
Kp: its my responsibility, ab raita maine failaya hai to sametoonga bhi khud hi.
Div: its not your fault.
Kp: okay, now you take care i will come in evening to meet you. Plz pass the phone to raj i wanna talk to him.
Raj: hii karan, need any help
Kp: you already did a very big help by calming down div, i just wanna say thanx to you.
Raj: why thanx?
Kp: for taking care of div, coz i am not around. I dont know but something of her past is disturbing her but after talking to her now, it seems she has sobered up.
Raj: yeah she is fine, just exhausted.
Kp: ok take care of her and dont let her watch television or online news.
Raj: ok i will take care of that.
Kp: bye
Raj: bye

Kp(s.t) she is so sweet she is so stressed still she worries about me, she thinks that i am not at fault, yrr yeh kitni awesome hai. Par mujhe yeh problem jald solve karni hogi even though div abhi cool hai par abhi bhi woh bahot stressed hai andar se. I just wish yeh kaam jald khatm ho jaaye taaki mai div se relax ho kar mil pau.

On the other side,
Raj: div now you talked with karan too now take your pills and sleep.
Div: raj abhi tabiyat itni kharab nhi hai ki pills leni pade I will just rest.
Div sleeps and raj pats her head.
After 2 hours,
There is very much chaos outside the house so raj slowly moves to the balcony so that div doesnt wake up. He sees all the media is there and try to go back inside but div comes outside and is shocked to see the media.
One of the reporter says loudly: Breaking news, Yesterday Divyanka Tripathi found 'hooking up' with co actor Karan Patel and today she is 'sleeping' with another co actor Raj Singh Arora.
This sentence leaves both raj and div in deep shock.
Div runs inside and cries hysterically and raj runs behind her to see if she is okay. Div was crying as if her whole world crashed down and she couldnt take the ammount of damage it does to her heart. She is suddenly hugged by The Karan Patel.

Kp slowly whispering nothing but sweet things in her ears and slightly shakes her and says "baby calm down its just dream, wake up".
[Yeah its a dream]

Div then slowly opens her eyes and looks at kp and hug him tightly as if her life is depended on it. Raj takes a breath of relief that finally div has woken.

Raj's POV,
It was around 3 hours since div is sleeping I am relieved that now atleast she is sleeping soundly. I was just gone for some minutes to get fresh then suddenly i heard div's crying screams. I ran as fast as I could and saw that she was having some kind of bad dream and going in panic mode so I tried to wake her up, shaked her, called her but she wont budge. I dont know what to do I was worried so I called KP and told him to come asap and send him the location, luckily he was in 2 km radius so came in 5 mins.

Kp's POV,
The work was almost done and then Raj called and told that div is in panic mode and isnt waking up so come to the div's home asap luckily i was nearby so reached in minutes.

As I reached I just banged the door luckily raj opened it quickly so i ran as fast as i could and saw div is hysterically crying in sleep and raj is back there trying his best to wake her up.
I just got into the room and hugged div and she kinda relaxed but still crying. I was continously trying to soothe her by telling that its all ok,its a bad dream, wake up, babe, please wake up, dont cry. I consoled her for minutes which seemed years to me and it was heartwrenching to see her like that. Finally she woke up saw me in the eyes and then hugged me tightly I patted her to calm down which she eventually did.
POV end.

After div finally calm down kp gets her a glass of water. Raj and Aly, Sangram got out seeing div all ok. Aly and Sangy came with kp as they were in the same car.
When kp and div were only left in the room, karan asked her what happened.
Div: it was a very bad dream lets not discuss it.
Kp: hey if you wont share how will you overcome it, then it will surely haunt you again...
As kp said these words div hugged him tightly and said: no i dont want to experience that pain again even if it is a dream.
Kp parts from div and sees directly in her eyes and slightly caresses her cheek with the thumb and says: share your pain with me i will not let you suffer alone. Dreams do come true but Nightmare don't.
As he said those words a tear drops from his eyes. Div wipes them and says: Plz dont cry, i cant see you cry.
Kp: and i cant see you in pain and so much pain in your eyes makes my heart wrench.
Div: i will tell you everything but dont cry. (Hugs)
Kp just nods.
Div tells her about her dream and broke into sobs.
Kp hugs her tightly: shhh darlin it was a bad dream just calm down, its over babe plz dont cry. Just tell me do you believe me?
Div looks in his eyes with trust and tells him: I believe you, I trust you with my life.
Kp (looks with admiration): then get one thing clear, I am with you, you dont have to fear anything, (chuckles) I even cleared the yesterday fiasco.

They both come close, very close, karan's one hand is on her lower back holding her close and the other on neck and cheek while one of the div's hand holdin his shirt and the other caressing his beard. Their lips met, there was no lust just an assurance of care,  happiness or maybe Love. [Who knows, Me knows😂]

As they part,
Kp: I need to tell you something.
Div: what happened karan, all ok na?
Author: will tell in next chapter divyanka not now i am sleepy right now.
