Atlanta was worried.
Her best friend had been MIA for quite sometime, and she was getting concerned about having to mend his broken bones again after another one of his silly adventures.
Talk about the stress of being the wife of the only Healer on Olympus.
He had gone after their son, who was apparently trying to hide something from them that was bothering him for a while. They had been cuddling on the living room couch before their son had walked into the room with a hesitant smile, and then had promptly walked back out.
Sighing, her husband had stood up from the couch after gently separating from her with a sweet kiss, and had promised to be back by five minutes at most.
Already two hours had passed since that declaration.
So yes, Atlanta was not having a good day.
The Goddess of Destruction knew that her husband would never break any promise made to her without a really good reason. That is why she dearly hoped that he hadn't gotten into serious trouble once again.
"Phoebus, where are you?", Atlanta called out, checking the entire residence for the third time. She fully knew that her best friend was still somewhere within the residence itself, because of the marital bond that they had formed right after the completion of their marriage ceremony.
"Phoebus?", she called again after turning a corner in the hallways of their residence. "Come out of wherever you are trying to hide. If you broke my beloved set of teacups which momma gave to me as wedding present or ate my portion of chocolates, just admit to it and all will be forgiven."
After pausing a little for dramatic effect, Atlanta gave a small smile. "Smart. You knew that I wouldn't forgive you."
Shaking her head slightly, Atlanta continued her search for her husband. "Okay, let's not talk about that then. But Phoebus, I really wanted to talk to you. You know what, I made your favorite; chocolate mousse. Don't you want to eat it? I'll feed it to you myself with your panda themed spoon."
"Momma, you made chocolate mousse?", a little voice asked her in obvious excitement.
Atlanta turned to the side to see her little daughter look at her with shining eyes. "Yes sweetie. Would you like to have some chocolate mousse as well?"
"Yes!!", Lyra cheered before getting lifted up when her Mother bent down to take her into her arms. "What are we waiting for then?!"
"Not what, but who. We are waiting for your father and your brother to come out of wherever they have been hiding for the last two hours. Perhaps they are in a mood to play hide-and-seek today.", Atlanta told her daughter with an amused smile.
"But I saw daddy and Cyg an hour and a half before.", Lyra told her mother in confusion.
"Really?", the Goddess of Innocence asked with eyes lighting up in happiness.
Finally a lead to my missing husband.
Lyra nodded enthusiastically as her mother began to walk. "Yeah!! They walked into the third room to the left. I waited outside the door for a long time before deciding to do something else. And then I ran into you, momma!!"
"Okay, we are already here. Which door was it again, sweetie?", Atlanta asked her daughter.
Lyra pointed to a set of golden doors with intricate designs etched on it at the entrance to the room. "This one!!"
