There's a place, that moves, every time civilization moves. Our creators. Some societies believe in God, we don't, we didn't. We believed in GODS. Twelve of them, to be exact. Why am I talking in past tense? You'll find out soon enough, for now I will give you the benefit of doubt. Even in your time, what year is it now? Two thousand and...something I'm guessing? Anyway, even now, those Gods are up there, watching each and everyone of you.And if there are Gods, and there are mortals, that means that the Gods come down and have "fun" with mortals, and given the fact that, Gods are not associated, with the word "Protection" there exists such a thing as a demigod, the breed of a God and a mortal. And we cause a lot of trouble, we have this thing, called ADHD, but when I was born, they just called it "that girl can't stay still, we should kill her and give her to the gods. " Pretty much the same thing, huh?
I am sure most of you have heard about the great Homer, how he was blind, how he was a spectacular writer.... Well, let me break it down for you. He had thousands of servants, and he didn't even write himself, I doubt he could write his own name. His servants wrote for him. And the reason why he had such great ideas, was because he was a son of the great and mighty Athena, Goddess of wisdom and strategy. That guy had everyone fooled, didn't he? Why do I know this about him? He is an old friend of the family, and I mean it when I say OLD, and kind of smelly too.
The guy couldn't even be bothered to bathe in a river, but I always fantasized about throwing him to the river Acheron, river of pain and agony. And yes I know i'm an angel. But enough about him, what I want to tell you about is way more important than an old smelly, blind guy.
Before I give you the insights of my life and death i'll give a short summary on greek mythology, but let me warn you first, those greek titans and gods were way different than we are now, due to the fact that they didn't - Don't- have DNA nor did they have blood, they had this thing called ichor, it isn't red like blood is but rather a golden color, speaking of royalty....honestly I have no idea why humans call it "blue blood" when it comes to big figures, like kings and queens.
Anyway, due to that fact, it didn't matter who they married or who they had kids with, because they didn't have to worry about DNA doing it's weird stuff and babies coming out all disfigured (Cyclops and babies that look like old ladies do not enter in the disfigured category) or something.
Anyway to bring it down as short as possible; Kronos killed Oceanus, his father, and Oceanus cursed Kronos, then Kronos married Reah, one of his sisters...yeah I know its gross but then again they didn't see it that way. Reah got pregnant - after all she was the Titan of motherhood- several times. Six to be exact (I know this is not much but still...ouch). Hestia, Demeter, Hera, Hades, Poseidon and last Zeus. But that isn't relevant right now. Anyway, long story short, Zeus seduced Demeter and had a child with her , Persephone. And then Zeus married Hera, after about a thousand failed marriages, one would think Hera would be smarter and have said "I know how you like to go around.... and I am not going to fall for it." But given the fact that, Hera was, the goddess of Marriage she couldn't say no to the idea of being a bride in one, besides she was tricked by Zeus, (long story, that involves cookoo birds). I, in her place would've joined the Hunters of Artemis, but that didn't even exist until later.
Moving on from Zeus; Hades married Persephone or rather...abducted her, but thats the same thing, and Hestia decided to stay single as a pringle because as she stated "hearth is better than guys". Later on Demeter decided to join her in that "anti-boy" or "anti-gods-that-where-guys" club, but they called it AGTWG....I know its a mouthful. Good thing its easier when it comes to mortals. But they -we- are all so fragile and innocent compared to the gods. I'll be explaining more about mythology when it becomes of any use, not for now. For now, lets focus on war, the war, terrible war. But this is not the war everyone has heard about, no nothing like that, this is the war that no one ever spoke about.
