"Marianna," my dad called. I flipped my journal closed and walked to my fathers office. I knocked on the door. "Come in, princess," I turned the door knob and walked it.
I stood in front of his desk. "Yes, father?" "There are some matters I wouod like to discuss with you, Mari." I froze. Did he find out that a person tried to kill me yesterday? "Yesterday, I allowed you to go out. I have just received word, that someone tried to murder you. Is that correct?" I hung my head, "Yes, father."
He nodded and rubbed his chin. "I have now taken matters into my own hands, Mari. I bave gotten you a bodygaurd. " he motioned to someone begind me.
I turned around and saw a tall, dark person stand up. I looked back at my father. "Why does he have a napkin over his mouth?" "He's forgotten his mask. He is expected to wear his mask whenever he is around you. Do you Both understand?" I nodded at my father and he beckoned for me to leave. I walked out of his office and back to my bedroom.
I tried to shut the door but something was blocking it. My bodygaurd pushed open the door. "What do you think you're doing?" "Your father has ordered me to be with you at all times," he whispered. "Oh," I said. I didn't care. He could watch me shower for all I care.
I smirked. "You have to be with me at all times?" He nodded with a crease between his brows. I could only see his eyes and his eyebrows. "Okay," I said. I went down the hall and he followed. I slipped in the bathroom door. "Do you have to be with me when I shower?" He paused and stared at me. "Let me go ask your father."
He walked to my dad's office door and knocked. He walked in. I couldn't hear their conversation but I heard my dad yell, "YOU HAVE TO BE WITH HER AT ALL RIMES WHAT IS SO HARD TO UNDERSTAND, ALECK?!" I grinned. So his name was Aleck.
A few seconds later Aleck stepped out. He walked to me and started to unbutton his shirt. "W-what are you doing?" I said backing up into the bathroom. He had removed the napkin, so I could now see his face clearly. "I have to watch you at all times. That includes in the shower, sleeping, and every little thing you do." His voice was raspy and low. My stomach fluttered as he undressed completely. He walked to me totally naked. "Does this bother you Marianna?" He asked. "No, Aleck, it does not," I said smugly and took off my clothes. We stepped into the shower.
