1. A new beginning

Inazuma life had been absolutely terrible. The nation  was cruel and so was its people. So when Jae heard about the vision hunt decree he was surprised.

Jae held up a newspaper to his face, reading frantically.

"What does this even mean?" Jae asked the lady next to the board.

Jae was rarely in inazuma city. It was way too expensive, he could afford nothing. He could hardly afford a shelter.

"It means that the raiden shogun will be taking away everyone's visions in inazuma" the lady answered him

Jae rolled his eyes. He thought the archon was stupid.

It doesn't matter though, since he doesn't have a vision. Although, it would be nice to have one...

He waddled back to Konda village.

He went to inazuma to clear his mind but now all he can think about is how pointless this "vision hunt decree" is.

"Hi Jae" locals waved to him as he walked bye

He waved back, he hardly knows anyone here but they all knew him.

He got to his small, pathetic house. It was tiny. Only two rooms.

But jae was very grateful to be living under a roof.

He plomped himself on his bed, it was kinda early but jae could sleep at anytime.

BOOM!!!

What was that?!? Jae jumped awake

His face was hot, basically burning.

Fire danced around him, swallowing everything he's ever owned.

His house was on fire. Shit shit shit.

Jae sped through the fire, burning himself, and outside.

That's when he realised everything was on fire.

What the fuck is happening??!?

He glanced around, everyone was screaming and running to safety.

Jae looked up, there was something... a small purple light.

Jae didn't have time to stop and look at it because a bolt of lightning came slashing down at konda city.

Louder screams filled the air, burning flesh too.

I've got to get out of here

Jae ran west to the beach near konda city. He grabbed a plank of wood and a couple sticks to made a really shitty boat and he hopped on.

It was dark and cold, but jae just wanted to get out of there.

He had been planning on leaving inazuma for a while anyway.

He paddled the boat far away.

Then he realised... that his boat was really shit, hardly in piece.
