Eda

Eda and Serkan have been married for 8 months. Eda had noticed over the last month that Serkan is not home in the evenings and is being distant with her. She asks him about it and he just says it's Engin or related to his mom. Eda  doesn't believe him but let's it go for a few weeks until she smells a perfume on his discarded clothing one night, a familiar but unpleasant perfume.

She discreetly hires a private investigator to find out what her husband is doing. She doesn't want her mind to go where it is going. They have been through so much to be together, he wouldn't throw that away would he? They were happy, weren't they? Now she wonders if any of it has been real.

Serkan

Eda and I have been married for 8 months, I love her so much. I hate what I am doing to her and if she finds out she will hate me forever, so I can't let her find out. Hopefully soon it will be over and everything can go back to the way that it was. I  just have  to hold out for a bit longer. Everything I do is for Eda and us, she will see that right?
If I tell her what's going on she will not be happy about it for sure and it will reopen old wounds that I don't want to reopen, so I'll handle it myself. I'll protect her with my life.

Narrator

Eda can't believe it, her worst nightmare again. She thought that they had closed all the doors from the past and were doing what they had always wanted to before, live their life as a happily married couple.
She was alone at home and called her PI to see where Serkan was and drove there herself. Maybe there was a reason but for the life of her she could not fathom as to think of what it could be. She arrived at the location, a hotel to be exact. She grasped the steering wheel so tightly her knuckles were white and her hands hurt. She took a deep breath and walked inside. She was determined to find out for herself, to see with her own eyes. She abruptly stopped when she heard that familiar, whiny voice saying "Serkan", she turned the corner and immediately froze at the sight in front of her and felt her heart shatter to the floor. Serkan was seeing Selin. She had the pictures at home to prove it but now seeing it with her own eyes, the confirmation of the ultimate betrayal was right there. She gasped, covered her mouth with her hand, took a few seconds to catch her breath and turned to walk away.

She drives home, tears streaming down her face. She relives a conversation between herself and Selin and Selin assuring her that she and Serkan had shared to much, been to important to each other. She tells Eda that no matter what she will never have that history and connection with him. She says that Serkan is angry with her but he will never truly exile her from his life.
She arrives home and before getting out of the car she acknowledges that as much as she didn't want to believe it, Selin was right, Serkan couldn't let her go. He had lied this whole time about her being gone from his and their life. She could see Selin's smirk right now knowing that she had proven her point.
Eda goes inside, Serkan calls her as she is entering her closet with an empty suitcase. He tells her that he has had a dinner meeting with a potential client and now they were having drinks so he would probably be another hour or so before coming home. He asked her if she had dinner or if he needs to bring her something. Eda silently cries as she listens to him lie to her like it was the easiest thing to do. She dries her eyes and tells him she had eaten and was getting ready for bed so she will see him later and disconnects the line.
Serkan is meeting Selin at the hotel she was staying at. He felt disgusted with himself for having to even talk to her much less "flirt" with her. Her presence made him sick to his stomach. He barely heard anything she was saying as he sat with her at the hotel restaurant, his mind and heart were with Eda, always with Eda. He told himself that in the end, which should be any day now, that this was necessary to keep Eda safe and destroy Selin in the process. He thinks back to a phone call he received a couple of months back, not recognizing the number he answered the call. The voice on the other end of the line made his blood boil, Selin. She tells Serkan that she missed him and that she wanted to see him again. Serkan reminds her that he told her he never wanted to see or hear her voice ever again, before he sent her away. Selin laughs and says " but you don't really mean that, especially if I tell you that your wife is being watched and on my word is to be killed along with her aunt, Melo and Ceren." Serkan cannot believe what he is hearing, Selin goes into detail about their lives, some intimate details as well, that no one would know unless they were being watched without their knowledge. He swallows hard and asks her what she wants, he can see her smirk through the phone line, when she says " you, Serkan, I want you. I want you to keep your distance from your wife, no touching, no kissing, and definitely no making love. I want you to meet me and let us get to know one another again and rebuild on what we once shared."
