Chapter 3

Jaemin had order his and Jeno's food while waiting for the older to arrive.

When he noticed the electric blue haired male, he stood up in excitement and caged the taller in a hug.

"Thank goodness I thought I was going to die, hearing Yuta and Donghyuck flirt with each other," Jaemin complained with a whine as Jeno giggled at his cuteness.

"Hi, Jaem I'm here now," he said with a smile and guided them back to the table where Haechan and Yuta were playing footsies.

After they finished eating, they threw away their garage and started heading back to their homes.

Yuta and Donghyuck were roommates in the dormitory, meanwhile Jeno and Jaemin did not live on campus and instead were nextdoor neighbors.

They parted ways with the other two and Jeno drove them back to their neighborhood.

The houses in the streets were overly decorated with Halloween decorations.

Jaemin never understood why people went overboard with it.

All he has were two pumpkins outside his house and they weren't even carved!

They pulled into Jeno's driveway and walked across to Jaemin's house.

They opened the front door and were greeted with silence, since Jaemin's parents were working.

The two headed to Jaemin's room and took their bags off, setting them on the floor.

"Nono, do you really not believe me?" Jaemin asked as he took a seat on his bed.

"I believe you, Nana don't worry," Jeno responded, taking a seat besides the younger.

"I'll be here to protect you I promise," Jeno smiled, allowing Jaemin to smile as well.

Before they knew it, dark withdrew the day.

They had eaten and showered and they were just about to get into bed.

Jaemin had his bunny pajamas on while Jeno just had on red sweatpants and a black shirt.

They wished each other good nights and Jaemin stood awake as Jeno fell asleep.

The younger stayed up as long as he could, noticing that the figure still hasn't appeared and it was almost one in the morning.

He was confounded.

Out of all days, now it doesn't want to appear?

Jaemin had no idea what was going on, but he was too sleepy to stay up and think about it any longer.

He shut his eyes and fell asleep, unaware of the eyes watching him from the window.
