Melissa POV

When I woke up, I saw light streaming through the window blinds. Wait, what time is it? 11:00? SHIZZZZZ! I'M LATE FOR WORK!!! My shift starts at 11:30!!!

I shook Lori to wake her up. All she did was roll over and continued sleeping. I ignored her and got ready for work.

*skips ride to work*

Arriving at the bakery, I ran in and rushed right behind the counter. "Slept in again?" Asked Ron. "Yea. What does it seem like?" I said groggily. "Sheesh, ok." I wanted this shift to end as fast as possible. Lori's finally bringing me to his boyfriend, Niall Horan! Yea, her girlfriend is Niall and I'm a directioner so I gotta fan girl since it's my first time meeting him!!!

Lori's POV

Yes! Niall is finally coming over! He got 2 months off from tour so he decided to come visit. But I really hate it when Mel fangirls over him. She never understand that he is mine!

Melissa POV

I got home and I saw Lori and Niall cuddling on the couch. As a friend, I always ruin the moment. "Hello!" I shouted at them. Niall jumped up and have me a Horan hug, while Lori growled at me. WTF?!?! "Hi! You must be Melissa right? Lori's BFF?" Niall asked, making sure he hugged the right person. "Yea..." I said shyly. Uhh! I hate being shy!

Lori POV

AHHHH!!! Melissa is stealing my man! Why does she always have to be prettier than me? But... Niall isn't my true love. I'm only dating him for fame.

Niall POV

Something about Lori isn't right. She seems so distant with me sometimes. As if she doesn't appreciate what I do. Well, I hope that's not the deal. But there's one problem. I don't feel that "fireworks" that people say when you kiss your true love. Actually, I've never felt it when I kissed her. Is that bad?

Melissa POV

"Well, I better be off! I need to get to work at McDonalds. Yuck!" Lori said. "And Mel? Dont make a move on MY man!" And she left by slamming the door. "Why does she seem so mad these days? She gets frustrated whenever I get a call from the lads." Niall said. I know about that Lori is dating Niall for fame, but I don't know if I should say anything. But if I don't, he's gonna be more depressed.  

"Niall?" I said.  

"Yea?" 

"There's something I need to say." 

"What?" 

"Lori, she's only dating you for fame." 

"Melissa, she wouldn't do that." 

"She told me. And she's been acting so snobby is because she hasn't seen you for a while, so nobody has paid attention to her." 

"Oh my god..." 

I felt bad for breaking the super bad news to him, but I needed to save his life. I was looking at the ground. And when I looked back up, I saw Niall hovering above of me. "Is everything okay?" I asked nervously. "Yea. Just standing in front of a pretty girl." I started blushing madly. There goes my shyness. AGAIN. he started leaning in. I knew this was wrong. But Lori doesn't deserve someone as sweet and innocent as him. So before I knew it, his lips were on mine. I felt bombs and fireworks going off. What does that mean?

Niall POV

I felt it. I finally felt the fireworks I've been waiting for.
