"Lizzie, what did Zoe tell you about scenting?""That you're supposed to hug me," I said wiping his saliva from my neck. Why was it so sticky?
His hand roughly grabbed my arm and shoved it down, stopping me from cleaning my neck.
"Scenting is much more than hugging," He said seriously.
I frowned. What?
"It's sex Lizzie! I told you it's f**king without penetration,"
My eyes widened in horror. I thought he was joking.
"What?" My shoulders hunched with tension.
Tristan shook his head.
"Are you trying to get me to... do it with you?" I accused.
An angry look came across his face. "You think I want to force myself on you? Get a grip Elizabeth, the b**ch lied to you to get you to come." He yelled. "I cant believe the little sh*t, no wonder you agreed," He murmured under his breathe.
I frowned unsure about how to react. Could Zoe really do something like that? Of course she would. I rolled my eyes. I was so going to kill her.
"So..." I said awkwardly.
He looked at me for a bit than grabbed his stuff. "So nothing. With every next scenting we will progress into the process and hope that its enough to keep your scent hidden. For now this is enough."
I grabbed my own things. "Wait, you're fine with this?"
He didn't respond.
I grunted, frustrated with the situation. "Tristan!"
"We don't have a choice. Unless you are okay with walking back to the car and taking a plane back home right this moment, we need to keep your disgusting smell hidden with my scent," He started walking away.
"Shut up, I don't smell," I pout, crossing my arms and following him. "You just have a really strong nose,"
"I'm surprised you don't smell it considering your big nose,"
I sucked in a breath. My eyes involuntarily teared up. My nose was a little crooked giving it an ugly shape. I hated it so much and was so subconscious about it. Tristan knew this.
Zoe was the first person I'd run to when I realised my nose was ugly. She'd listened to me cry about it while Tristan listened through the wall separating their rooms.
He always listened. Was always listening.
The creep!
It seemed like a trivial matter but it was something that hurt me a lot and was really hard to get past over the years. It was obvious that he was in a foul mood and trying to take it out on me.
"I hate you," I muttered quietly enough for it to not fall on human ears but he was a werewolf.
He turned around to look at me as I walked behind him.
I looked down at the ground, grateful that it was getting dark. Dark enough for him to not see the tears that burned my eyes.
"Lizzie are you crying?"
"No, why would I cry," My voice croaked. Dammit! Why was I so emotional?
He didn't say anything.
I glared at the ground. I was so mad. So so mad. And so insecure. So so insecure. He knew it and still...

Music could be heard from within the forests.
As we moved closer to the sounds I heard more chattering. Sounds of loud bellowing music dispersed chatter. The sound of a crowd partying. We were there.
The forest cleared.
A big bunch of people appeared. We'd crossed pack boundary and entered?
Tristan instantly grabbed my arm and yanked me close to him.
I angrily pushed him away.
We struggled.
He yanked me back with my arm and I fought to get his grip off of me. Angry eyes glaring into each other.
"Let go of me you, ass hole!" Twelve hours ago, who would've though I'd be capable of cursing at anyone. This long ride had done wonders to me. I was feeling irritable and just wanted to sleep. Everything around me, there was nothing extraordinary, just people dancing and chattering around bonfires.
"Trouble in paradise?" A voice spoke from behind, making me jump six feet in the air.
I turned around to see a middle aged man. He had brown skin and was wearing a red polo shirt and black pants. He held a drink in his hands. In the dark his silver watch glinted catching the moonlight.
Tristan yanked me back next to him. His arm wrapping around my waist in a tight grip. I winced when his fingers gripped my skin a little too harsh.
"Uncle!" Tristan exclaimed. A forced grin on his face. "How you doing?"
"Me boy? Tell me what you've been up to with the humans?" He leaned forward into my face. "I see you've found yourself a chosen,"
Tristan chuckled, pulling me away from the leering man.
He was drunk.
"This is Elizabeth," He smiled "I'm going to go look for mom and dad. Lizzie come on,"
As we moved away from the man, moving further into the crowds the man bellowed. "A submissive eh! She'll do you good."
I winced.
"Ignore him," He whispered into my ear.
I looked around. We were here.

"There they are," Lily said warmly as she saw us approaching.
Lily, Mr Krovotsky and Zoe were standing around people chatting to them.
I glared Zoe. She frowned at first but one look at Tristan had the fear appear across her face.
When she looked at me again I looked away. This was no trivial thing. She knew I would say no
