Perfection

Ruby looked in the mirror, full of indecisions and insecurities that by that point in her life had begun to limit her.

All those repressed reactions are the ones that gravitate on her, all in her mind only bifurcating preventing her from moving forward.

—It's always those fears that rust you, they always paralyze everything, your shyness, shame and demand is your lack of strength and consistency, try to move forward sensibly, OK? Don't judge yourself, don't punish yourself, always pursue your ideal Ruby— spoke a voice behind her.

She observed through the mirror CJ, under her head and nodded, turned around and walked to the exit of that room being stopped before leaving.

—Don't demand so much perfection anymore, you have to break the glass of your idealization, discard fear and live with passion! Without the shackles you put on yourself with your perception— the blue-eyed man spoke again with a faint smile on his face.

She smiled and nodded a little more energetically, the boy smiled back and they both left the room talking about various songs of the band to which they both belonged.

Only days later they were on stage she was about to perform but the white-haired woman was nervous and this was noticed by the other members who were looking at her, being CJ who looked at her with a crooked mouth and a frown and without waiting any longer she approached.

—Is something wrong?— asked CJ.

—T-there are a lot of people this time— she replied, lowering her head in regret.

—It's important that you have no doubt and it's okay that uncertainty sometimes shakes you but try to get your mind to avoid all the fear that doesn't shield your soul, is it?— said CJ caressing Ruby's head.

—B-but, what if I'm wrong?— she replied somewhat upset.

—If you lose your way, it is not a divine punishment it will only be the harmful product of your mistakes which would only be to think cruel of yourself, do not let it determine your destiny or your values, you must risk trying Ruby, it is that which you love but do not trust that you are able to make it happen, no one improves from night to day,  just learn from your falls, let nothing stop you, always be the one who decides because it is time for a new starting point to be established in your life— CJ replied with a sweet smile

—Did you just invent that or had you already planned it?— asked Ruby amusedly.

—It's just come out now— CJ said proudly.

—So if that's true, let's give it our all!— the white-haired man spoke slightly excitedly.

The music in a matter of seconds began to sound and Ruby's voice accompanied by that of CJ was heard by the place being received by dozens of applause.

Once the concert was over they were able to return home but as seemed to have become customary, Ruby had a look that seemed dissatisfied and at the same time thoughtful, CJ sighed again and remembering his own words, she approached.

—Don't demand so much perfection anymore, you have to break the glass of your idealization, discard fear and live with passion! Without the shackles that you put on yourself with your perception—spoke CJ drawing the attention of the three present even though these words were only addressed to the cap

The eyes were perched on the black-haired man who, when he received no answer, lowered his head little by little.

—No more, never again— Ruby replied out of nowhere with a faint smile on her face as she held CJ's hands.

CJ looked up with his eyes shining and a small smile forming on his face.

—Don't let fear stop you—CJ replied in the same way.

—No more, never again— Ruby said again.

—Don't let fear stop you, keep going— CJ said again, stroking Ruby's cheek.

—No more, never again— Ruby replied again, approaching CJ

—Don't demand so much perfection anymore, you have to break the glass of your idealization, discard fear and live with passion! Without the shackles you put on yourself with your perception— CJ said once again.

They both looked at each other and still shy Ruby walked over and kissed CJ's lips, he smiled and hugged the white-haired one carefully.

—You're perfect Ruby— CJ spoke, smiling.

—And you are perfect for me— Ruby replied in the same way.
