In the Battlefield
by: IsangI suddenly found myself as I woke up
standing alone in the middle of the field
the place seems unfamiliar
but it feels like something I longed for.
in a blink, I found myself in a movie.
a movie that moves emotions
but shattered the soul of the homesick.Time flies, but memories abide
in our dreams they are fantasy,
in the silent, I hear you sing
in your arms was an angel sleeping
in your song there was peace
but there is no peace in a battle
yesterday we learned to survived
today is unsure, making future doubtful
our life is a battlefield of endless fightsThere is no fear in motherly love
but I see pain in your smile
and hope in your eyes
no words but meaningful
memories in the field made me
battles may cease, but endless
but now, I am capable of fighting
let me take the lead, let me hold your hands
In your love, it made me strong
I'll clear up the way to cross over
Let us both witness the sunrise before it sets.
