Dark, darker, yet darker.
I didn't know where i was, all i knew is that everything suddenly went dark. Who am i? What am i? Where am i?
Before he know it he was in a dark, snowy forest. It's cold. That's what causes him to notice he can feel. He had a tattered, light grey hoodie and faded, somewhat dirty blue jeans. His shoes were cold and wet. He held himself, trying to warm myself up even a little. He noticed he had longish, blonde hair, which helped him stay slightly warmer. All was silent, other than a small, musical humming he heard. But it was too soft for him to think it was anything other than in his head.
He began to wander around. No point in staying still and freezing to death. As he wandered he found strange wooden walls with gaps in them that were low enough to push oneself over. And at the center of it… a generator? Why was it there? What did it power? Why was it here?
He heard quiet motor nearby. He walked in its general direction, eventually finding a small shack with… another generator inside it? He headed inside, seeing it as better than being out in the cold. Inside were two people Inside were two guys working on the generator. One looked like a trucker and the other an office worker.
"You look new. Who are you?" The trucker asked in a dull tone.
"U-Umm… I-I'm…"
He didn't know his own name. He rubbed him arm and looked down.
"I don't know…"
"He really is new." The other man spoke up. The generator light turned on and the two stood up.
"That's not too important yet anyway. We need help with these generator's." The trucker said.
"I don't know anything about mechanical work" he replied.
"Trust me, you'll know what to do when you start" the office worker spoke up.
"W-Well, i saw a generator back that way." He pointed behind him.
"Alright, lets get it done. We should only need three more"
He simply nodded and followed the two men. He felt confused by them. Like they'd been here for a long time. They knew what they were doing but he didn't. He followed them to the generator and were about to start working on it before hearing a loud scream from a woman. Suddenly that tune he heard not long ago got louder.
"Shit, that's Meg."
"We need to get her, quickly"
The two excanged words before motioning him to come with them. He nodded and followed them. Eventually as they crept through the forest they found meg. On what looked like a hook. To the right a shadowy, looming figure walked through the foliage, away from the three. With that the office worker rushed forward and helped lift the woman off the hook. He asked me to help patch her up as the trucker kept an eye out. It was odd. It somehow came second nature to him as he aided the injured woman.
"We need to leave, now." The trucker said, all of them moving off together.
"I almost had a generator done East from here before… she found me." The woman stated.
"She?" He asked
"The Huntress. She's a cold, psychotic axe wielding woman. That humming you're hearing? Thats her." The trucker said, looking over his shoulder.
"J-Just what is this place? where are we? What's going on?" He asked softly. Feeling scared by his description of this being.
"We'll tell you when we're somewhere safer. Let's just focus on generators, me and the new guy will head off to find a new generator. Ace, Dwight, go finish that generator I almost did. There's another just past a fallen tree."
