Chapter 7

Dani's POV

The door bell rings when me and Luke are about to walk downstairs. Luke tells me he's going to the bathroom and he'll be down in a minute. I walk downstairs and get the door, Michael is standing there.
"Dani, can I talk to you for a second?" He asks and I oblige. Honestly, if Jason messed up this many times and asked for forgiveness or to talk I would just shun him but I have a soft spot for Michael, Calum, and Ashton. Mostly Michael.
"I missed you so much Dan, I hate what we do to you but schools almost over and I'm gonna need your friendship" he says and slowly backs me into the wall. "Maybe more than a friendship, like what we used to have." He says, now I'm against the wall, our chest pressed together, lips about to touch.
"I need you babe." And with those words out of his mouth his lips are on mine. I'm not gonna kiss back, I like Luke now. But the familiar taste and feeling of Mikey's lips on mine is amazing, I missed it. Do I still like him? No I can't I won't let myself. I start to try to push him away,but he won't budge. I am half thankful half worried when Luke comes down stairs and says
"Hey Michael, what the hell are you doing here, man?" Michael is startled by his voice and starts to get upset when he knows it's Luke . When I look at Luke you can see the hurt in his eyes. He looks adorable.
"What are you doing here?" Michael says to Luke. Luke explains my parents death and me living with him. Michael says he's sorry about the death and hands me a piece of folded paper, with that he was gone.
"Luke I didn't kiss him back, I tried to push him away and I hated his lips on mine." I say while looking at his sparkling blue eyes.
"Good maybe you'll like mine." He says and crashed his lips on mine I kiss back, we then pull away and put our foreheads together.
"Did you like it?" He asks panting. I smile at him and said
"Tremendously"
After this we get in the car. I wonder what will happen from now on,maybe he'll ask me out, or.... I'm thinking to far into it, I'm snapped out of my thoughts when we pull up the Home Depot.
"Why are we here?" I ask him as we get out the car.
"To get paint for your room silly." He laughs and ones my cheek. Cheeky bastard.
"Thanks Luke your the best." I smile and poke his cheek. We walk into the store and go over to the paint isle.
"Oh yeah just to let you know, the color scheme is like a light blue." He says and grabs my hand.
"Ok, good because I was looking at this color," I tell him and show him a pale blue.
"That will go good with your bed spread." He says while nodding. I am excited toile with Luke, I haven't been cutting as much since I met him. Yes I still do it, but I have been doing it less. I don't think Luke knows I still do it.
"Dan, are you ready to check out?" Luke ask me and I nod.
"Hello beautiful, is this all?" The cute cashier ask me, he looks about 20. Luke answers for me by saying with a little sass, " Yep that's all." The guy looks at me with raised eyebrows.
" This your boyfriend, because if not are you free tomorrow?" He ask I was about to say no to oath questions but Luke, oh Luke buds in.
" Ya she is. My. Girlfriend and we are very happy together, right babe?" He says looking at me.
" Yep, sorry buddy, I'm committed." I say and kiss Luke's cheek. That makes the guy mad. He hands me the paint and we walk out.
"Jelouse much?" I ask Luke laughing.
" Jelouse of that jack ass, yes I am because your mine and he should know that." He says and takes the paint from me.
"Luke were not even dating," I point out. He nods and whispers " we will be soon" and with that we are on our way home.
