"Mom told me you've got to pick up supper tonight." My sister Gabriella said, leaning against my door frame. I just rolled my eyes.
"She's going to be working late, again?" I groaned, scrolling down on my computer. I sighed, and shut my computer. "Looks like we've got to head over to BurgerBarn, again." I got up from my chair and grabbed my leather jacket from my bed. My sister was just texting away on her phone.
"What else is new." She muttered, and followed me on the way to the car.
We got to the car, and since it was pouring rain, I drove extra slowly. I was able to hear
"You think dad's ever going to come back?" My sister asked. I scrunched my eyebrows, confused by the sudden question.
"If I had the answer, I would have told you by now." I said. I looked over at her, lately, she seemed to miss that jump in her step, that smile that always brought a smile upon myself.
"You're my sister, not my parent and not my therapist." She said annoyingly. It was a typical answer from my sister. "Hey, I have to pee." She said.
"Okay, well we're in line now, so if you have to pee your pants and have to go that badly, you can get out of the car and go." I chuckled. "I'll pick you up in the front when I finish pickup up the food." I smiled.
It all happened so fast.
My sister nodded and exited the car, placing her jacket over her head, running in to the rain, about to get inside the fast-food restaurant, when a black van skidded onto the side of the restaurant and a man clothed in all black jumped out and started pulling on my sister.
Shocked, I started to stare. I regestered what happened after about ten seconds.
"Lindy!" She tried to yell, while attempting to free herself.
"Gaby!" I yelled. I tried to open my door, but the drive-through lanes were way too narrow. I couldn't open the other door, there was another car waiting. I did what i had to do.
I opened the window and pulled myself out, jumping on the cars in front of me.
"Lindy!" She yelled, crying.
"I'm coming Gaby! Don't worry!" I exclaimed. I jumped on this random persons car and slipped off, causing me to fall to the ground.
I didn't let that stop me, though.
I shoved myself up and ran to the black van, when I saw the man succed into pushing my little sister into the menacing truck.
"Gaby!" I yelled, running at the van at full speed.
But the van drove away,
With my poor little sister in it.
