"SHIT- MI-NYEO WAKE UP, WERE GONNA BE LATE FOR SCHOOL!" sae-byeok was yelling and it woke ji-yeong up. "oh right, school" she mumbled but sae-byeok was looking at her now. she had a very, very confused look on her face.
"school? aren't you too young for that shit?". "ummmm i'm 18 actually.."ji-yeong said. she always got treated like a kid, probably because she was short. some people even knew her age but yet still, they called her a kid.
"oh god, i'm so sorry ji-yeong." sae-byeok said as she was taking her school bag. "let's go?". ji-yeong quickly got up and looked at sae-byeok. "i can't, i'll have to go home first." she said.
"oh, right- i'll drive you there if you want.". ji-yeong just nodded which was kinda like 'thanks!' and started walking with the taller. they got in the car and sae-byeok started driving while ji-yeong was telling her the directions.
"go left now--- wait no right--" ji-yeong said. "UGH JI-YEONG, WE'RE GOING TO MAKE AN ACCIDENT IF YOU CONTINUE." ji-yeong giggled as sae-byeok was trying to be calm and not slap her.
not long after that, they arrived at ji-yeong's house. she ran out of the car, took her books and got back to sae-byeok. "we're ready now? class is starting in five minutes so we'll probably be late a bit." "i know, sorry." ji-yeong lowered her head and looked at her feet, while sae-byeok was trying not to pay attention to that.
"we're here--" the taller said after a few minute ride to the school. she got out of the car and opened the passenger's door. ji-yeong looked at her and got out letting out a small "thanks".
they were walking to the classroom and they went into it. the teacher stopped talking and looked at them. "why are you two late?" "we're sorry, i forgot something at home so i had to take it." sae-byeok said. it was a lie. was she trying not to get ji-yeong in trouble..?
they both sat on their seats and ji-yeong looked at sae-byeok. she still couldn't figure out why she protected her. they met a day ago and she's already being kind. why are people even saying that she's cold hearted..?
the bell rang. "phew, finally a break." ji-yeong came to sae-byeok and thanked her. "yeah, yeah, whatever, let's go to my friends now." as she said that, she took ji-yeong's hand and started walking around and looking for others. soon enough, she saw ali standing and talking with gi-hun."oh, there they are. wait, where's sang-woo-"she mumbled but ji-yeong couldn't hear her.
gi-hun and ali greeted sae-byeok and ji-yeong. then, sang-woo came. "babeee! what are you doing here?" he said. ji-yeong looked at him and smiled "hey baby, i'm just hanging out with sae-byeok and her friends"
sae-byeok looked at sang-woo with a surprised look. she couldn't believe what she heard. "sang-woo-? you're dating ji-yeong?". "ah, sae-byeok- yeah- it happened really quickly and everything so i didn't have time to tell ya'll, sorry-".
"congratulations guys!" gi-hun and ali shouted. "chill, y'all don't need to be so noisy." with that, sang-woo landed a kiss on ji-yeong's cheek.
"b-but sang-woo..". "what sae-byeok? aren't you gonna say congrats to us as well?---"
"if she's your girlfriend...why did she sleep with me last night.?"
