Ranboo has had his delivery job for over a month the "deliveries" page in his memory book was getting crowded with names like "Sapnap" and "Awesamdude" each name had been crossed out after he delivered their packages, now Ranboo was delivering a package to someone named "Tubbo" He had heard some of the other people he had met mention him but none of the gods seemed to want to give him anything—until today at least—Ranboo was running through his favorite woods looking for Tubbo, he spotted someone he hadn't met yet walking through the clearing where he had first met Wilbur. He stopped running and walked towards the clearing slowly, making sure not to be excessively loud.
The person walking in the clearing stopped and Ranboo realized they had small goat horns a short brown tail and droopy goat ears, the person's ears perked up as they listened closely.
"Is someone there?" The person asked Slowly
Ranboo stayed silent until he judged the person safe to approach, he then replied as he walked into the clearing "I'm here,"
The stranger jumped surprised, they stare amazed at Ranboo then say "W-who are you? I've never seen you around."
"That's because I don't live here," Ranboo replied, "My name is Praetereo, I'm here to deliver packages and letters from gods to mortals."
"Oh, cool, My name's Tubbo!" He replied seemingly exited to make a new friend, "Why're you in these woods?"
"I'm here to deliver a package to someone named tub-" Ranboo stopped realizing he was taking to the person he was looking for, "well, I actually was looking for you!"
"Me? Why?" Tubbo asked.
"A god named... uhm, I'm sorry I forgot which god wanted this delivered," he said scratching the back of his neck nervously.
"Oh it's okay!" Tubbo assured him, "Do you want to talk more? You seem nice."
"Sure! I would love to!" Ranboo replied eagerly,
"Okay! Let's go talk at my house!" Tubbo spouted exited as he waved his hand for Ranboo to follow him.
They walked through the woods talking about their lives and Ranboo explaining about the overworld— as tubbo had never been— Ranboo explained that mortals actually can visit the overworld they just need a god to do an incantation so they can enter. When Ranboo had said that, Tubbo's ears perked up and he looked like he had an amazing idea.
"Maybe I could see the overworld someday!" He said looking starry-eyed as his ears were perked in his excitement, "and you could show me where you live!"
"Slow down!" He laughed "I just met you today" Tubbo's ears fell back down and Ranboo noticed he looked sad "oh! It's okay! I'm sorry I didn't think that would sound that mean!" He apologized looking very worried
"It's okay!" Tubbo replied his ears perking up again "I usually make friends really fast!"
They soon arrived at a small cabin outside of the woods and Tubbo ran towards the front door unlocking it with a small black key connected to a twine string.
"You coming?" Tubbo asked Ranboo who was still standing at the edge of the woods amazed at the cabin.
"huh? Oh, yeah I'm coming!" He answered starting to walk towards the front door, "is this your house? It's amazing."
"Yeah this is my house, i have the key you know," Tubbo replied sarcastically as Ranboo walked to the door, "well this is it," he opens the door leading into a small living room with a couch inside, someone Ranboo recognized was sitting on the couch,
"Hey Techno I'm back, thanks for watching Michael!" Tubbo thanked the man sitting on the couch, Ranboo noticed a small piglin child was sitting on the floor playing with toy trains.
"Daddy! Your back!" The small child said jumping up and running to tubbo, "why were you gone so long? And who's that??"
"This is my friend! uh- I didn't actually get your name?" He realized.
"It's Praetereo, but you can call me Prae or Ranboo!" He replied helpfully.
"This is my friend Ranboo!" Tubbo said kneeling down to hug the child, "What did you do with uncle techno?"
"We played warriors! Uncle Techno gave me a sword! It's in my room right now but ill go get it!!" He ran off to his room.
Tubbo laughed as Techno got off the couch to talk to them
"Welcome back Tubbo, your kid is very hyper. Also," he turns to Ranboo "Have i met you before? You look very familiar.."
"I don't think so.. Maybe you've seen me walking around," Ranboo replied, "You look familiar to me too.. OH! Techneoni? God of blood and war?"
"That's me, how'd you know? Usually other mortals don't recognize I'm a god without me telling them," He announced.
"I'm actually a demigod! I've seen you around the overworld! You have a shop in the moonlight market!" He spouted exited to talk to another god.
"Really? I forgot you were a god," Tubbo chuckled,
