CASSIDY POV
As sit in first period, jack and the other two try to talk to me but I have so much anxiety about what there going to think about me I can't answer. I start feeling like its harder to breath. And I know what's going to happen next if I don't leave.
As my breathing starts to get heavier and louder, I hear the blonde one ask
"Are you okay?" But I get out of the class and leave.
I head to behind the bleachers and do something that I haven't down in a long time.
JACKS G POV
"Wtf" I say as Cassidy leaves the classroom. "Come on" I say to Skate JJ and Sam. As we all follow her.
"Shh she's right there." I hear skate say as he points to the bleachers.
As we walk up we see her ... Smoking a blunt ?
"Woaaahhh mute, that's unexpected." I say as she sees us.
CASSIDY POV
"Woaaahhh mute, that's unexpected." I hear someone say, and I turn around to see jack and three others. I gasp and hide the blunt behind my back.
"No need to hide it we already saw." Jack said laughing.
"You wanna let me take a drag?" I hear one say. And I sit on the bleachers and hand it to him as I put my head in my hands.
What do I do?
I get up and run. I hear them call after me but I just ran to behind the school.
I sat behind the school until I heard the lunch bell, which was a long time.
I got my food and sat at a table by myself in the corner.
In the middle of lunch I hear someone sit down at my table. "So where did you run off too Cassidy?" Someone says loudly, I look up to see jack. I look back down and don't say anything. Then the rest of his crew show up, and the whole cafeteria looks at me.
"Please stop your attracting attention." I say quietly. And I hear a few laugh.
"Your pathetic."
"Mute actually talks?"
"What a freak." I hear people of his big crew say. As I get up from the table and run to the bathroom with tears in my eyes.
--that night--
Right when I lay in bed to go to sleep I hear someone throw soemthing at my window. I get up and look out it to see jack? When he sees me he motions for me to come down.
I open my window and climb down the tree that is next to it. When I get down he says, "you know Cassidy something about you interests me." And I look at him funny.
"Nothing interesting. Just a mute freak." I say with a shrug and pick at my nails.
"I can see it in your eyes, your hurt, I wanna know why." He says.
"Why so you can just make fun of me?" I say rolling my eyes.
"No, Cassidy" he says.
"I'm sorry I don't trust you, I barely know you." I say quietly and look down.
He lifts up my chin with his fingers. He looks at my eyes and then at me lips.
He starts to lean in but right as he's about to kiss me I turn my head and his lips land on my cheak.
"I'm sorry." I say "that's embarrassing." I say as I run Into my house.
