                          Matthew's POV
I sat in my chair, kind of bored in my chair  talking to my classmates and telling jokes to pass the time as always. But one person catches my eye.. Dylan. He's just my friend, obviously. But he's really funny.. I have him in 3 of my classes and we talk a lot. I think of him as a lot more then just a friend, although I can't find the words to place it. I want to talk to him more, even though I see him a lot.

"Matthew, what is the answer to this problem?" Ms. Duncan calls out to me, a bit annoyed. "Uhhh.. 7?" "..we are talking about decimals and the answer was 0.52." "Uh sorry miss." I responded. "It's okay I guess, just pay attention." She continued to teach the class as I started talking to Dylan. "Hey, whats up?" I ask Dylan, Desperately- I mean wanting to talk to him. "Not much, just listening to the teacher I guess. How about you?" "same." "MATTHEW! I'M CALLING YOUR MOM! THIS BEHAVIOR IS UNACCEPTABLE YOU KEEP INTERRUPTING ME!" Shit.. well, she's going to be pissed once I get home. I stay quiet for once and wait for school to end, I stare at Dylan when he isn't looking and before I know it the bell ends, signaling to go home.

I walk to my house, as it isn't far away. I take a breath before I enter my house, knowing that my mom is going to scream at me the second I walk into the house. And as expected.. "Matthew, your teacher called today and told me you weren't listening to her. Why's that?" She asked. "I don't know I was paying attention and everything! She just hates me for no reason!!" I lied, not wanting to get in trouble. "Just.. do your homework." She sighed. Well, at least I didn't get in trouble.

As the clock reaches 11 P.M, I decide to go to bed. I lay down in my covers and start thinking about Dylan. I can't wait for tomorrow to see him again! Wait a second.. what am I thinking??? I don't want to go to school! Why am I thinking about him? I scream into my pillow and finally go to bed.
