Hello, Holá, Bonjour, 你好, γεια σας, नमस्ते, Kon'nichiwa and Aloha.

Welcome to another edition of "The Wild Stories which are cooked up in Najeeb's head."

(Cue applause and dramatic flashing lights)

In this episode, we will be reading a story about love and betrayal, and how a family can be broken apart by one truth which, for the most part, is simply unacceptable. There will be romance, there will be mystery, and if you know me, then there will be a lot of plot twists and an unspeakable amount of deaths. After all, how can we appreciate life if death doesn't come knocking every now and again?

Now, as usual, I should mention a few things before we dive in:

1. The kingdom of Azrah is entirely fictional, so don't go looking for any similarities between it and anywhere else you know. Sure, there might be overlaps between this fictional kingdom and the real world, but nothing is modeled after any particular kingdom. And if I end up getting dragged to court over some misunderstanding, just know that I will march into the courtroom with a globe and you must point out the kingdom to me. And if you cannot, then pray that I don't find you.

2. My characters are not real people please. Are they modeled after real people? Perhaps. But are they used fictitiously? Absolutely. For the sake of our combined sanity, treat them the way you would treat Sandor Clegane, Draco Malfoy, Maleficent, or Shrek.

3. As usual, comments, votes and constructive criticism is absolutely welcome. But if you're going to be a wazz bag, then don't speak to me about it.

(For clarification on what a 'wazz bag' is, kindly refer to iCarly - Season 4 episode 24)

4. As I always mention, there isn't a specific updating schedule. But I do plan on updating as frequently as I can manage. I'm sure Wattpad will send a notification every time a new chapter is published, so don't forget to charge your phone or tablet or whatever it is you kids use these days.

5. And finally, thank you so much for reading this book. I hope you will enjoy it, and support my goal in ridding this planet of those terrible beasts called pigeons. One of them pooped on my uniform once when I was a kid and I have held a grudge ever since. Donations to support my cause are welcome, and greatly appreciated.

Enjoy reading. And please do not have any high expectations before you start reading. I haven't even showered before writing this, so that should tell you how low I've set the bar😂

Cheers!
