Chapter 26: Becomes her bodyguard.

Friday morning they went for a meeting with the wedding organizer to check the details for the wedding. This is their second time to meet the wedding organizer to check if everything is ready.

The wedding organizer gave all the details and everything went very smooth "Okay na po lahat  pati sa reception okay na din so all we have to do po is to keep ourselves ready para sa wedding nyo next month." She suggest.

"Thank you so much for taking an effort, see you next month." She said.

"Well Miss,  everything is good so thank you." He expressed

After that they moved back into his office to rest. "Nagugutom ako Greggy." she sat on his chair and left Greggy standing.

"Ano gusto mo kainin?" He asked.
"I want a carbonara tapos fries ikaw ano gusto mo?" She looked at him and smile.

"Ikaw." He replied. "Greggy pagkain sabi ko." She burst into laughter.

"Kung ano yung gusto mo kainin ganun narin yung akin ipabili nalang natin yun sa driver." He replied

"And I also want a lemonade." She commanded. He looked at him repeatedly to check her if she is okay as he noticed that she craved alot in  anything lately.

Their food finally arrived she excitedly open the box and take her food on his table. "Greggy akin na yung french fries mo." He wondered why she want to get it when she had her own. "Why? I am eating it." He brought it to her and she checked it. "Bakit ba ano ba meron?" He asked.

"Gusto ko kasi ng golden brown na fries, pwede ba palit tayo?" She negotiated. "Sige." He replied.

As they take their food he can hear Irene sniffing. "Bakit mo inaamoy yung pagkain?" He look at her with curiosity and asked. "Ang bango kasi, hindi mo ba naa-amoy." She asked while she takes her food uncontrollably. "Naa-amoy naman masarap nga eh." It was his first time to see Irene like that, she looks like a kid that has to sniff the food before eating it.

After that they move to  meet her mother and siblings  in Quezon to talk about the Marcos day.

"Next week Marcos day pupunta naman tayo ng Ilocos sabi daw ni Matthew may pa sayaw daw na magaganap  kaya magsasaya na naman tayo." Imee said

"Oouy isasama ko si Greggy papa-sayawin ko sya." She chuckled while he looked at him.

"Basta let just be ready may mga iba pang event baka hanggang gabi yan na event so ready all of yourselves." Imelda followed.

"May garlic bread ba kayo dito?" She asked. "Oo meron sa pantry you want? Teka lang kukunin ko" Liza responsed.  "Medyo nagkalaman ka ngayon Irene madami ba yung kain mo lately?" Imee asked as she noticed Irene's cheeks becomes chubby but her curve remains on her body.

"Oo eh ang dami nyang cravings lately ." Greggy replied.

She take another food again enjoying a bite of garlic bread.

Bong Bong giggled "Normal lang yang cravings na yan si Liza ganyan rin minsan may mga araw na matakaw meron din naman minsan 'on a diet' daw. He expressed.

The Marcos Day arrived and all the family are present to give tribute. After the mass held in Paoay church they  join the parade around Ilocos Norte. "Wow ang dami palang tao mukhang oinag handaan."  She expressed. He stroke his hair and kiss her forehead "Sabihin mo lang kung napapagod para makapag pahinga tayo." He said.

"I truly enjoy this right now this is totally different than the other year past every Marcos Day and I hope you will enjoy too." She kissed his cheek.

After the parade they move in the market along the streets  for the flashmob many people are around and everytime they saw her everyone approaches her to take a selfie and  embrace her.  Greggy always look after her to see if she is okay, the flashmob started and everyone are in a mood to dance her Manang Imee approached her and invite her to go with Bong Bong to join the dance; in every beat of music they create every dance steps.

Bong Bong energetically dancing and Irene followed him around they crosses the street and so he followed by Greggy her body jiggles around as her body showed every edge of her curves, he can't stop looking at him from head to toe seeing her body banging as she hit the ground in the crowd dancing  Macarena. "Wow" he speaks on his head but then he is aware how other people looks at her and he doesn't want that she will be over fantasies by an ill-mannered man.  He turned his back to guard her to the people at the back, he lightly stretch his both arms so that her body wouldn't  be  brush up to anyone at the crowd.

She stopped from dacing and approaches Greggy. "Are you okay?" she asked. "Yes I am, you want some water?" he offered her the bottle of water and he wipes her face with his handkerchief.

"You truly enjoy dancing." He  professed.  She smiled on him and cupped his face "Hindi ka ba sumasayaw?" she asked. "Nahihiya ako eh." he giggled "Malapit naman din tong matapos and after this we move to take our lunch." She said.

"Just enjoy babantayan lang kita dito." He smiled at her.

They are now at the residence for lunch and  rest and they will ready again for the night for a tribute program and a concert.

She rested with him at the couch in the living room  as they watched a noon time show. She felt asleep on his arm and  he held her hand, she looks tired but her face is still looked graceful.

The night arrived and they attend the program it was too crowded and she was overwhelmed seeing the crowd happy. Governor Matthew start his speech when there is a sudden electricity outages she was jolted and starts calling Greggy it was not really dark since the crowd are using their phones "Greggy, greggy?" she called him as she cannot feel him on his side. 

"Calm down Irene nandito lang kami, nandiyan lang yan si Greggy sa likod." Imee tapped her arm to assure her.  Greggy  grabbed her "It's okay I am here, nandito lang ako sa likod kanina."  the electric outage lasted for 5 minutes but after that everything is back to normal. They enjoy  watching the dance presentation and still she is energetic to groove at night together with her siblings and  Greggy.
