Teacher Trouble

Heading to America and Arriving in America

We all got ready with our suitcases and we headed off to Cardiff airport

The airports name was Cardiff International Airport

We met with Steele there and he said that he and Ellie were sat together while me, mum and dad were sat together

We got to check in and we checked in our bags that would go in the hodal

After that we went through secruity and they told us to take any eltronics out which we all did before we walked through the metal dector

After we done that we went to passport control where he gave the official our passports and he pulled me and dad aside

After searching for the proof we actually lived together he let us go to duty free where the rest of our party waited for us

"They hold you back?" Penny asked

"Didn't think Jones loves with me is all" Sam said "After they took a look at police files from when she was 7 and onwards they saw she was biologically mine"

We went looking and I got some M&M's for the flight and the others got the drinks and some hard candy for the flight to Chicago

They got me some water to but allowed me to have my M&M's

We then got to our gate which was 4C and we were soon allowed to board it

I sat on the window seat, Dad at the end of the row and mum in the middle

As it took off I held Arlo tightly and made sure he was seat belted in to

Once in the air my parents chuckled and saw that I was more calm then they thought I was and I watched loads of films and made a word association game on the flights tele computer thing they had given us

It soon got rough and I was on my way back from the loo when dad grabbed my arm and pulled me back to them and I did my seatbelt and asked for Arlo who mum gave back to me

I had a nap which mum and dad knew knocked over an hour and a half off when I had rewoke from my nap

Food then came and we ate it all, mum and dad chose and I couldn't and mum gave me and dad some other things for the strawberries they had planted on our trays and she ate mine as I ate hers minus the strawberries

We soon arrived in Chicago and boy was it hot, it was hotter then Pontypandy that was for sure

The whole flight took 9hs and 14mins

It didn't feel like 9hs felt a lot less but that was just me

Then we went through passport control again and once that was done we collected our bags and went through nothing to declare where we let them check all of our bags

Ellie was stopped due to her stephoscope she had in her bag but with her letter of allowance as well as her NHS training details and cards and her proof she was allowed to go past no further questions asked

We were now at the airport which was called Chicago O'Hare International Airport

It was so cool and I held my dads hand as we walked out

We saw a sign that said Pontypandy in it and we walked towards it and Sam saw his friends from firehouse 51 as well as most of the crew

I was in awe at the engine they had right there ib front of us

"This is truck 81" Casey said with a smile

"Awesome" I said

I looked in awe

"Who's this Sam?" Casey asked to my dad as he pointed at me

"This is my daughter Jones" Sam said

I was walking around Truck 81 and Casey said "Jones like it?"

"It's a fire engine" I smile "my parents are firefighters you know"

Casey crouched down and said "Jones what do you want to be when you grow up?"

"A firefighter like my dad" I said "Jones, Sam's daughter pleased to make your aquintice"

"How would you like a ride to your hotel via a fire truck?" Casey asked

I looked at my dad and I gave him my best puppy dog expression

"You all are getting on" Casey said as dad picked me up and let the others on before we got on and Casey let me sit next to him as if drive off

"Seems Jones has made a new friend" Ellie smiled

"Yep, Ellie, Penny sir this is truck 81" Sam said

They all said hey and they said hey back and we soon arrived at the hotel

We got out and headed into the hotel

Steele got his key first followed by Ellie then us three

Steele had his room at 409

Ellie 411

Me, Dad and mum had the room 410

We smiled and settled in for the night

As soon as we were ready for bed and tucked in we fell asleep
