Chapter 1: Childhood Friends

Kakucho and Takemichi are really good friends, probably he is the only friend that Takemichi had and he's not complaining though, he is always happy around Kakucho anyways and he could not ask for more.

"Kaku-Chan let's play more" Takemichi said to his friend with a big smile on his face and with excitement on what the both of them are gonna play.

"Sure" replied Kakucho with a smile on his face because of how excited his friend is.

Both are happy they hang out every day and Kakucho seems to notice that even Takemichi is always happy and smiling he can see the sadness and loneliness through his eyes.

"Michi, are you okay?" Kakucho asked worried about his friend.

"Huh? Yes, why?" Takemichi answered Kakucho confused with the sudden question of his friend.

"Well you looked sad, so I thought there might be a problem" Kakucho replied to his friend with a hint of worry on them

"Don't worry im alright" Takemichi assured his friend so he would not be worried about him anymore.

"You sure" Kakucho asked Takemichi not believing his words.

"Yes" Takemichi answered his little friend.

Kakucho just brushed it off and continued to play with Takemichi, both Kakucho and Takemichi always hangout every day without fail until one-day Takemichi didn't appear at their usual spot to hangout and Kakucho was so worried and stayed just to wait for the boy, hours have passed and it's almost night and Takemichi didn't come and Kakucho decided to went home cause his mom is gonna get angry.

The next day and Takemichi didn't come as well but Kakucho still waited until sunset but not even a single trace of the black-haired boy had been seen and Kakucho is getting upset over it and the next day, the same thing happened he still didn't come and Kakucho came to the conclusion to visit Takemichi tomorrow so he could know why he isn't hanging out with him.

The next day Kakucho went to Takemichi's house to find Takemichi about to leave, he walked in front of a surprised Takemichi because of the sudden entrance of the boy inside his house, Takemichi looked at his friend who is looking at him intensely with a glint of sadness in his eyes.

"Kaku-chan, why are you here?" Asked by Takemichi to his friend with a hint of worrisome.

"Takemichi, do you hate me?" Replied Kakucho who looks upset by the sudden disappearance of his friend.

"What?" Asked by Takemichi who is confused by the sudden question.

"I said, do you hate me?" Answered by Kakucho who seems to be hurt emotionally.

"No! What made you think that" Answered Takemichi to Kakucho.

"You did not hang out with me for 2 days straight, am I annoying?" Replied Kakucho who seems to be upset.

"No your not, it's just that im really busy" Answered Takemichi to put his friend at ease.
