"I cannot believe you actually consider it" khainah screamed on top of her voice.
Pacing right and left, while Saraf's eyes fixed on her.
"I told you to stay out of my way" she yelled.
"He was manipulating" his voice still calm.
"You shouldn't care! I don't go ruining your dates." Her hands in air.
"Manipulative bast×rd ." He voiced
"Why don't you mind your own business?" Her brow raised
"This is my business khainah. You're my legal wife whether you like it or not." He replied walking out of the room .
Khainah fell on bed thinking how right he is and how painful this is. To be in a forced relationship. Parents turned business partners and children are thrown for the weight of successful running. So typical. Or is it?
It's evening and she's off with another one , maybe this time it'll be love. Finding love when you're 31 is so stressing highlighting ; when you come not only with past baggage but a husband too.
"You're pretty, really!"
"You're not so bad yourself" khainah smiled.

"Picture this; you and I in Iceland. Let's go really!!" Nadine punched Saraf.
"I cannot leave in mid"
"Oh why!!? Just this once please saraf, we never go out. It has been 13 months of us."
"I can't." Saraf's eyes still on the screen.
"Fine!" She stomped out of the room.
"I can't tell you how brutal it was!" Khainah rolled her eyes when she was on phone with Carmen.
"You need to settle for one at least" Carmen reminded.
"I can't . I need to love and that's that"
"Then, Try loving your husband."
"Oh hush! It's just on paper." Her hands tightened on phone
"You used to have a crush on him."
"used to. Like million years ago."
"Still there!! Look all I'm saying is just consider. you go out, date random guys. It's entertaining, I know. But there's a guy literally under your roof."
"Oh no sweetie . That guy is a beast"
"That's your perspective"
"And a very honest one. Anyway I'm sleepy so buh bye"
"So secretive to your best friend too? Cute." Carmen giggled
"BYEEEEE." khainah hung up.
And smiled. He's the only person she hates, but he's also the only person who is there, just there, always.
She thought about all the time she dreamed about being with him. But then he dated a girl in school, a selfish, manipulative girl, and things changed.
She shrugs herself , wanting not to get absorbed in the past, and she shuts her mind off by sleeping a good deep sleep.
