Friends

 Friends are;

Like pearls in the mouth of an oyster;

carefully formed,

treasured forever.

Like the wind in the air;

brushing off,

all our worries.

Like the sand dunes in the Desert;

never changing;

always there to help.

 Like the waves in the sea;

crashing on the shore,

bringing laughter.

Like the stars in the skies

shining brightly,

on our lives.

Like the river in our hearts;

flowing through us,

bringing fresh hope.

Friends are friends;

whether young or old.

My friends your friends,

Will never leave us alone.
