{Genshin Impact} Thoma x reader

~First date ahaha~

        

     Today was the day you and Thoma are going out on a "date". You guys aren't dating really but you did ask him out to lunch a couple of days ago and he did agree, so yeah. Thoma said he is free around 2pm today, and you guys were going to Kiminami restaurant,  though he did offer just to take you to his place and cook for you instead, you insisted we should try out Kiminami's new pizza.

      You guys decided to meet up outside the tea house and walk together. You were currently waiting outside the Komore Teahouse. Thoma should be coming here soon, you have been waiting near the outside tables for about 20 minutes. You started to think about what would happen after this little hangout... would you ask him to be your boyfriend? You really wanted to but just thinking about it made you nervous. What if he said no, would your entire friendship with him be ruined? Hopefully not.

    You could see Thoma walking in the distance, he is usually very easy to spot considering the fact that he's a pretty blonde haired boy, quite tall, and always seemingly shining with happiness, if that's even possible. 
     He approached you with a smile.

"Hey, uh oh wow.. you seemed to dress up for the occasion, I like it, that outfit looks very nice on you." He said.

   You weren't really wearing anything special. You just wore some casual blue jeans and a black sweater with a few stripes on the sleeves. You did put your hair up in a bun today though.
     Well, even when you weren't trying to look any prettier and presentable, the compliment still flattered you. Of course you have to compliment him back, right?

"Oh well, thank you.. I think your eyes are very pretty." You said. That was a bit bold of you to compliment him on his eyes but it's all you could really think of.

"O-oh thank you, hm so should we start heading over there?" You could see the slight blush creeping into his face.

     You nodded. You guys started walking to downtown Inazuma city together. There was quite a lot of people out and about, even when it's just a regular afternoon on a weekday. Well, anyways, while on your short little walk, Thoma talked about his day and how he had to accompany Lady Kamisato to a pretty important meeting with the Yashiro commission... and how Mr. Ayato was awfully busy today and hasn't even been home all day. You were listening to Thoma just talk, you didn't entirely know what to say so you just let him talk. You thought about holding his hand as you guys walked, but to be honest, you don't even know how to initiate it without being super awkward about it. You were now basically looking at his hand as he talked.
"So that sums up my day so far, how was your day (y/n)?" He noticed how you looked at his hand once he looked at you.

"Oh uh it was good, nothing really happened today...." You drifted off a bit, you wanted to ask him to hold his hand.

".... hey uh Thoma, I was wondering if you... if you would like to hold hands with me while we walk.."

You couldn't look him in the eye to be honest. You're visibly nervous.

"Oh ah sure!" He said enthusiastically.

     Your fingers immediately interlocked with his. His hand was very warm, maybe it has to do with his pyro vision? Makes you wonder if people with pyro visions can make themselves warm like that. Thoma's thumb rubbed gently against the back of your hand.
    The chilly afternoon started to feel warm all of a sudden.

"Have I already told you that you look so pretty today?" He asked, "-well uh I meant, you look pretty everyday!"
"Oh well um thank you, why are you complimenting me so much today?"
"..Oh is it too much? I can stop if it's making you uncomfortable." He loosened his grip on your hand.
"Oh no no, it's just you usually don't compliment me this much.." You said, hoping that he wouldn't pull away from you.

    You guys walked the rest of the way to the restaurant in almost silence. It didn't feel like an awkward silence though, it's just there was nothing else to be said.  Feeling his touch from his hand really did make you feel those little butterflies in your stomach.
     But now considering that you guys were being a little more intimate, you begin to question if you were actually like still just friends or if you were actually like dating now. You wanted to ask him now about it but you guys just reached Kiminami's restaurant. He asked you what you wanted before you sat yourselves so he could order for the both of you. He ordered three slices of pizza, two for you and one for him.

      When you were both done eating and this little date is reaching its end, Thoma offers to take you to his favorite spot in the entirety of Inazuma. It was a bit far, considering that it was in Ritou, and by the time you even got there it was already sunset. It felt like the time went by really fast today. You followed Thoma to a side street that looks out into the ocean.

   "You know, it's been a while since I've been to Ritou. It's a very beautiful area, I wish I could come see it more often." Thoma said as you guys sat down on a bench.
The small and calm waves of the ocean was very soothing to your eyes.
  "... I really like this place, I really do... and I think the reason why I like this place so much is because this is where we first met." Thoma looked away, as if he was slightly embarrassed by what he said.
You sat in silence for a while, until you finally asked...
"Thoma.... what are we now? Like relationship-wise?" You looked at him. He thought about that for a good second.
"Hm well I suppose we are dating now, like you know, romantically," He was blushing a bit, "because I really do like you a lot (y/n)."
"Well, I like you a lot too.." you said. You looked into his pretty green eyes. Thoma gets up from the bench and rests his hands on his hips.
"Well I suppose it's time we head back, I really enjoyed hanging out with you today, and I really hope we go out again like this soon.."
You got up from your seat and Thoma then then leans a bit closer to you.

He hugs you.
