When we made it to the front of Woodbury all that was left was a man and his sister, Tyresse and Sasha, and the others the Governor wouldn't let fight with him. We loaded them all up and went back to the prison, when we got back there was a whole bus load and then some. We rebuilt the fence the Governor knocked down and cleared out the rest of the prison. Michonne went out everyday to look for him, Daryl even went.
"We lost his trail months ago, who knows where he is. She has to find him I don't even think she knows why. What he did to Andrea is really my only guess," Daryl said.
"That's what I'm thinking. Wouldn't you? Who knows what he did to Michonne though," I sighed.
"Of course I would. I want him dead just as bad as the rest of 'em, but the trail went cold. He could already be dead," Daryl said, then we went into our cell.
We had a lot more people so clearing out the rest of the prison wasn't a problem. After it was clear we let everyone else choose where they wanted, then Maggie, Glenn, Daryl, Dylan and I ended up in a whole block to just the 5 of us. We had the top and they had the bottom, then a new man, Bob, joined us and he moved to the top floor of the cell block.
One morning we woke up to screams, "take Dylan and get to your dad, keep him safe! I love you!" Daryl said then he ran in to help kill the walkers that collected there. That's when we realized the illness was more serious. After the walkers were down we buried the dead.
*THE NEXT DAY*
Dad, Daryl, and I were walking when we heard Tyresse yell, "Rick!" We followed him where he wanted us and found the corpse of a burnt Karen and David, "you find out who did this and you bring them to me," he said.
"Ight, calm down," Daryl said.
"You want me to calm down? How would you feel if this was your wife and son?" Tyresse yelled getting in his face then threw Daryl into the fence. Dad was about to lunge forward when Daryl threw his hand up signaling for him to stop. Daryl manged to flip it all around so he had a hold of Tyresse, but he was too strong and threw Daryl off of him. Tyresse hit dad, but then dad stood up and beat the hell out of Tyresse. Daryl pulled dad off.
"Let me go!" Dad yelled.
I walked over and wrapped my arms around him, "dad, you need to calm down. You're doing this out of anger. You'll regret it later," I felt him relax a bit. Then I walked over to Tyresse, Daryl tensed up, I looked at him and shook my head, then walked closer to Tyresse and squatted in front of him, "Ty, we get you're upset about Karen, but killing the person who did it will only make you feel worse. I've never felt what losing my partner fells like, but I do know what it's like to lose someone you love. I promise you, we all do. If you ever need to talk you come find me. I'll always listen, okay?"
"Yeah, okay. Thank you, Jamie," he said.
"Anytime. Now, let's get you to Hershel. Babe, you walk dad down in a few," I said. Daryl nodded and I walked away with Tyresse to cell block C, "Hershel, you here?" I called out.
"What can I do for you, Mrs. Dixon?" Hershel smiled.
"Can you patch Ty up? Daryl is gonna bring dad down in a bit," I asked with a smile.
"Sure can," he said.
"Thank you," I smiled and sat down and waited for Hershel to finish with Tyresse then I walked out with him to get dad.
Hershel took a look at dad's hand, "you sprang it, but you'll be fine," he said.
"Good," I said, then bent down kissed the top of dad's head, walked around the table and did the same with Hershel then walked out.
A couple days after the bodies and block E, the council called a meeting. The council consisted of: Glenn, Hershel, Michonne, Daryl, Sasha, and Carol. We decided dad couldn't handle the stress alone, we all saw how he was when mom died, he went nuts, so we decided this was better.
Daryl told me, "those who are sick go to death row. We're not killing them, just need 'em away from those who ain't sick."
We were walking around outside with Dylan when Beth walked over to us, "have you seen my daddy?"
"He went in to take herbs to the sick. Don't worry he has a mask on, should be okay," Daryl said.
"I hope so," she sighed.
"He will," I smiled, then Maggie ran over to us, "what's wrong?"
"It's Glenn, he's sick, what do I do?" She asked.
"He needs to go to the doctor and put with the others," Daryl answered.
"Where?" She asked.
"Death row. Maggie, he'll be okay," I said. She nodded and turned back to get Glenn. Dad walked over and heard the last bit.
"That means you 3 are back to C," dad said.
"Dad, we'll be fine," I said.
"Not taking chances," he said.
"We'll get our stuff," Daryl said.
A few hours later we were back in our old cell with Dylan sleeping in his old bed.
