At the end of the peir

I felt something, something that made me feel scared and surprised. It was like I just fell of "the end of the peir"............... This is my story of what happened to me and how it changed my life, hi I'm Madeline leeper. "hi dad" I said "is breakfast ready yet?"actually, sweetie I have to talk with you"what is it? I said suddenly concerned something bad was going to happen."well, Madeline I just got a promotion at my job and I have to move....but you will not be able to come with me."what!" I screamed" your leaving me here...alone I'm only 12 years old. How could you do this to me!"wait" my dad said"I'm not finished.... You will have to go live with your mom, in California."dad that's even worse, I haven't seen her in 9 years and all of a sudden you want me to go live with her!" I said suddenly getting out of my chair and going up the steps." Madeline! Wait!my dad yelled" your leaving tomorrow just please consider this as a good thing" no I will never consider this a good thing and I will never, ever forgive you! I screamed slamming my door shut.I sat in my bed thinking about all of this, and how it was going to effect my life, but I found myself drifting to sleep.....CHAPTER 2

When I woke up the next morning, I had to pack all of my things and get in the cab. You see my dad and I are very poor so he can't waste any of his gas, taking me there. The last thing I said to him was.... Nothing. It felt like the longest drive ever. But we finally got there." hi Madeline" my mom said" it's so great to see you"!" whatever, where's my room, I think I'm going to stay there the rest of my life"it's on the right of the steps"she said joyfully. As I walked inside the house I noticed that it was like a manshion! My room was like my dads house, altogether! As soon as I unpacked my things my mom offered me a snack" honey would you like some lunch"she said"na, I'm okay". I think I'm just gonna go for a walk" okay, but don't go swimming" she said. That's weird I thought,

swimming. I went outside and found a pier at the end of her street! She practically lives on the beach! I walked to the peir and found myself standing on it. The peir seemed old and i suddenly felt like I was about to fall off, like I was scared. I ran off the peir and sat on the nice warm sand."I think I'm going to come here a lot more often"I said calmly. I went back home when it was getting dark"hi mom" I said in an annoyed voice."Madeline"my mom said sternly. I know we haven't seen each other in a while"try 9 years" I yelled inter- arupting her. Madeline my mom said agian, I don't like your tone, at least try to have a little fun."but I was forced to come here I never even wanted to come in the first place! I yelled"madeline,my mom started agian seeing tears in her eyes"if that's how you feel then maybe you shouldn't have come!"all of a sudden I ran out the door hearing my name being screamed"Madeline! Madeline! I heard but all I did was keep running. I found myself on the peir, the waves crashing upon it."owwww! I screamed. A wave pushed me down and was carrying me into the open ocean, I noticed I fell off"the end of the peir". Mom! Mom! I screamed"help!" I felt scared and surprised that this was happening, my worst fear came true.I suddenly heard something or someone screaming my name with ambulance cars behind the voice." mom, is that you?" but before I heard the anwser everything went dark....

Chapter 3

I woke up in the hospital with my dad."dad"? I said where's mom?" she saved your life and called 911 she didn't know if you wanted her to come in"he said in a disappointed voice.suddenly mom came in" I'm soo sorry mom and dad, I didn't mean anything I said"I know you didn't they both said, it's okay. The doctor said that you will be out of the hospital in know time."it was horrible I said"the feeling was horrible."I love you all sooo much and mommy"I said looking into her eyes, thank you
