Where it all began

The plane landed in Greece after dark. When Ade stepped out of the plane it was warm. Well it wasn't hot but +10°C felt warm when you compared it to -20°C.

"How was the first flight?" Hermes asked suddenly.

"Uhm... First?" Ade asked back and turned to Hermes. Hermes just raised his brows. "It was ok."

"I could hear the beat of your heart quickening when we parked in front of lupus." He said, eventhought she didn't expect him to answer. "We better go before Ares goes mad." Hermes walked away and in few seconds she followed.

Ade heard footsteps behind her. She started chewing on her lower lip. She looked back and saw Eros step out of the shadows, and when their eyes met, she saw hownhis eyes were almost golden.

"Princess, I remember saying something about abusing that lovely and full lip?" The man'd low masculine voice said and Ade quickly freed her lip. For awhile they just stared at each other. Many memories flooded into her mind and suddenly tears threatened to spill. She didn't allow it and closed her eyes.

'I am strong, I am brave.' She reminded herself.

"Why did you call me that? You know my real name." Ade asked without emotion, looking up into the Eros' brown eyes. The hurt in them was clear. Eros looked around, making sure no-one was listenin before saying.

"That's what you are. Our soulmate and one day you will be a Queen. Luna Queen of Greece." Eros said confidently. Something in his voice made warmness flood inside her chest.

'Mate told us we are his! Answer you idiot!' Celestia yelled inside her head and Ade just blocked her out.

"I think you are the only one who wants the bond." Ade answered and turned around, walking down the path Hermes had gone earlier. Hearing his footsteps trailing behind her, She knew Eros was behind her.

After what felt like hours Ade saw soft light through the leaves, and soon she was the cabin, which was... Well it looked like a cabin, but it was built high between the tree trunks.

"

Well at least no-one will kidnap me through the window." Ade muttered quietly to herself, but clearly not quietly enough, because she heard Eros growl angrily and saw Hermes run outside from the cabin.

"Did you see something?! Or hear?!  Let them come we-" Hermes was cut off by Eros.

"Nothing like that..." Eros growled, golden spots dancing in his eyes. "Let's go inside and then Ade can tell what was that... Joke about."

He walked up the stairs and into the cabin, two stairs with one step, leaving Ade with gaping Hermes at her side.
"Well..." Hermes said scratching the back of his neck. "We better go inside. Welcome to the Alpha cabin." They climbed inside in silence.

Once she was inside she realized, that she forgot her luggage into the plane.

"I think I left my luggage in the plane." Ade said turning awkwarfly to Hermes.

"Ares already brought your stuff." Hermes answered sitting down on the plush looking couch. "Sit down. Eros will be here soon." Ade did as she was told and it didn't take long for Eros to appear and sit down.

"Ok Ade, start talking." Hermes said when she didn't talk.

"You don't have to worry about it. It's in the past." Ade said. She had no will or want to talk about her first encounter with the vampires.

"If it is about the bloodsuckers, we as your protectors have the right to know about." Eros demanded.

"Fine if you want to know so badly." Ade spat out. "In finland the Luna Queen and the Alpha King visit the packs every 5 years, or when a new Alpha claims their position. When mom won the tittle from the former Alpha, Justin and the royals went to visit my parents. During their visit mum went into labor, and Alex and I were born. Edwin  and Laura became my Godparents. Connection to the royals, check. So everything went well for a long, no-one even thought of attacks. I wasn't introduced to guests and only my packmembers knew who I was, until I was twelve. That is when I went  onto my first vacation. It was a a competiton thing. I saw more people in there than I had seen in my entire life. Some of them even from outside of Finland. Everything went well until the third day." Ade took a break, composing herself. "I had my own room and at night I woke up when someone broke into my room. Before I could react someone grapped me, threw me over his shoulder like a potatosack.

I screamed. The someone jumped down from the second floor, and I didn't even feel the thump of the landing. It ran away from the house, to the forest. At the border of the forest it stopped and I saw another man. The man's hair was dark like the blackest black and his eyes were like dripping blood. He was satisfied. Then the in whise shoulder I was on started running again. Suddenly we were surrounded. Tgebman threw me off and took off running. They caught him and I sae that his eyes were also red, so unusual. They interrogated him, but when he didn't answer anything they shredded him into pieces and burned him. He didin't scream at any point, but on his last minutes he just stared at me. After that the attacks started. Id I hadn't left, no-one would no of me and all those pack members would be safe and alive... and Daddy... Thay all would be alive." Ade ended her story, trying to keep her tears in her eyes. Luckily the brothers were quiet, well it was likely that they were talking through mindlink. After awhil the door opened and Ares walked in. He looked at his brothers and then af Ade before walking up the stairs. On top of the stairs he turned around.

"Father is having a new moon party. Everyone is coming." Ares said before disappearing upstairs.

"It is getting late. Time to go to be. The bedroom is upstairs." Hermes said and rose from the couch and walked upstairs. Eros nodded to Ade and then followed his brothers. Suddenly Ade felt tired.

"You have had a long day. Let's go to bed." Eros said leaving confused Ade standing. She eyed the room again and the she followed Eros. There were two doors upstairs and she opened one door that revealed a small bathroom.

She washed her face and opened another door that lead her into the large bedroom.

"Your bed is the one in the back." One of the brothers, said. Ade didn't know which one, because in the dark they all looked the same. She thanked him and walked to her bed, laying down. Her head had barely hit the pillow when she was out.

Question:
If you had to choose between being able to fly, or being invisible, which one would you choose?

I would want to be able to turn invisible, so I can walk out of the store with food with out paying. Not sorry.
