Von and Dakota were out looking at venues for her baby shower, at first she didn't want to even think about throwing one since COVID was still around but he had changed her mind.
"You sure?" Dakota asked him while eating some pringles.
Von nodded his head, he was driving and took a right turn before stopping at the red light.
"I told you we could've just had it at the house as normal people do." She stated while staring at him.
He and Dakota were at odds about where to host their baby shower, he wanted to have it somewhere else and she thought about just having it at home.
"Kota, we can have another one at da house." He said with a smile.
"But I wanted this one at the house, I had so much planned." She says with a sigh.
Von looked over and laughed she was so overly sensitive but he knew the reason why the hormones were always getting her.
"We can still do one at the house folks." He said.
She crossed her arms and rolled her eyes.
"Don't be acting like dat!" He said with a smile.
He watched as she huffed a little causing him to lean over to kiss her cheek.
The couple was in the car for a minute or so until he stopped and parked turning off the engine.

"Hello, Mr. And Mrs. Bennett, how are you two doing today?" The dark-skinned woman asked.
There were times when he and Dakota were out in public and people automatically thought she was his wife, he honestly didn't think anything of it because he was going to marry her anyway. But for now, the couple just wanted to get the baby stuff out of the way.
"We're fine, I spoke with you on the phone today about the venue?" Dakota stated with a smile.
"Yes, right this way for the tour!" The woman spoke.
The couple smiled and followed the woman down the hallway as she spoke about the venue and showed them the rooms.
"Here is the backyard, so what do you guys think?" The woman asked with a huge smile.
Von looked over at Dakota seeing she was in deep thought about something, hopefully she liked the venue because he didn't want to go through with calling around for another venue.
"I like it...it'll look better decorated but for now it's all empty." Dakota says as she moved her hair to the side.
"Well, is this a yes to you'll both book the venue?" The woman said in a nervous tone.
"Of course we'll book your venue it's super spacious an what I've always wanted." Dakota says with a light laugh.
"Great!" The woman says happlily.
The three of them followed the woman to her office where they had went over the paperwork and signed off on renting the venue for their baby shower.

"When will this event be held?" The woman asked.
"It'll be held on the 25th." Dakota responded.
She watched as the woman wrote down the information before typing on her computer.
"Alrighty then! You two should be set!" She spoke with a smile.
Dakota smiled and the two of them shook the woman's hand and departed back to the car.
"So, all I have to do is contact the planner and everything should be done." Dakota said while texting on her phone.
"Aight, well you still wanna go to walmart an see if they got any more stuff?" Von asked.
"Yes, I already got most of my registry stuff but there is something else needed." Dakota says.
Von looked over and smirked at her while he backed out of the parking spot, before driving off towards Walmart.
Just then Dakota's phone rung and she answered it seeing her mother's face pop up, her mother and Von's mother popped up to spend some time with them.
"Hi mommy!" Noah said with a smile.
"Hi Noah, you having fun with your grandma?" Dakota said.
"Meemee!" Noah said as he pointed at his grandmother.
"Yeah your grandma, what you and your siblings doing?"
"We're fine, I just cooked and he's been playing non-stop." Her mother stated.
"That's all he wants to do lately is play and play." Dakota says.
"Hey Dakota, you ready for the baby shower?" Von's mother said while handing Dayvon Jr his pacifier.
"Yes, I am!" Dakota said.
