there was a fanart of this pic^ that was really good and i wanted to use it instead but i didn't know who the artist was so i decided against it ;( but it's incredible how my covers are getting less and less decent with each story..

"it's a party, jisung, cheer up," chan, dressed as a squid game player, elbowed his friend who was taking a sip from his beer.

"hyung, he dressed like a white collar worker for a halloween party, do you think he wants to cheer up?," seungmin questioned with a laugh.

"i'm a corporate worker, symbolising the grey world of monotone work some of yall will simmer in one day," the shortest of the group crossed his arms. it was a last-minute costume, borrowed by his brother who was already a part of the 'grey world of monotone work'.

"yeah, but maybe you could've been something a little more.. scary," jeongin proposed and pulled down his suit shirt.

"the tediousness of the colourless repetitive routine can kill any mind. that's surely scarier than a clown," jisung snarkily replied.

"i'm the joker!"

"you're a joke," jisung rolled his eyes and took another sip. he didn't like parties and was probably anxious so his group didn't mind him sulking.

suddenly though, a very colourful group of three entered: one was wearing bright green, the other amethyst purple, and the third was in a light blue sparkly dress and a long blonde braid.

"wow," jisung muttered as he watched them enter, entirely mesmerised by one of the people.

"what?," seungmin asked and looked to the direction his friend was staring at, "elsa? seriously, dude?"

jisung didn't say anything, but he kept following the newcomers who were greeted by a tall guy in hanbok.

"um, i think you have to 'let it go'," jeongin sung out jokingly. seungmin rolled his eyes at him, "it seems that she's dating robin hood," he measured the kaleidoscopic group from head to toe. elsa and the boy in green had their arms wrapped around each other as they were talking to their friends.

"robin hood?," chan questioned with a chuckle, "i think that's peter pan."

"oh," jeongin giggled too, "possibly.."

"i like the one in purple," jisung interrupted, finally learning how to speak again, "she's so gorgeous."

"um, i have no idea what that costume is," seungmin admitted and rubbed his chin pensively, "maybe someone from loona.. they wore a lot of purple in 'butterfly' i think..," he thoughtfully hummed but the boy was already sinking in silence again.

he looked at the pretty figure in black skinny jeans and a silky purple shirt, and at the pretty long hair that rested on that girl's shoulder, the side-swept bangs and the beautiful traits, and the little tilted beret that stayed on top of her head effortlessly. the features were so gentle that jisung involuntarily bit his lip.

"i think that's jang manwol, from hotel del luna," jeongin finally exclaimed, "it's one of iu's most iconic outfits from the show!"

"yeah, maybe you're right," seungmin looked to the direction of the purple beauty again.

jisung was still stunned though and he couldn't even hear his friends discuss that group. he watched the pretty noona as she talked and laughed, touching her hair as she explained something and everyone laughed, and jisung couldn't imagine why because her hair looked amazing.
