Shoyos POV

I wake up as usual but with a little more spring in my step then usual.
My tail swished back and forth as my ears twitch a little.

Today is my very first day at a new school but I'm a little nervous

You see I'm a neko which is a word people use for someone who is half human and half cat

When I was born nobody knew why I came like this, all I know is there was no one else like me in the world

My features also made me look more 'cute and feminine' as people say so my mom was always a bit extra protective with me

My dad left shortly after I was born, my mom always tried to reassure me it wasn't my fault but I know that's a lie

We had to move a few times either to harassment at school or really bad bullying

As expected being called a freak or a mutant. I've learned to live with it but it does hurt sometimes so I generally now tend to hide my tail and ears

But anyway apart from all of that my mom managed to get me into my dream school karasuno

For as long as I can remember I've always wanted to go their after knowing that's the school where the tiny giant played volleyball

I was never allowed to join a volleyball club before either because they said I was to short or said they would never let a freak like me join a team

But that's all over with I'm going to go there and get my place on the squad

I've practiced for years now my little sister and mom helping me and a few friends I made that actually accepted me

So now all I got to do is go there and show my skills. Watch out karasuno I'm coming for you

3rd persons POV

Hinata finally finished getting ready after taking a shower and trying to taim his fluffy hair he bounced downstairs oosing with excitement

"hey sweetie are you ready for ur first day of school?"

"yep I'm packed showered and have all my meds with me"

"okay and are you sure you don't need me to go with you make sure everything goes okay"

"nope I got it thanks mom"

"okay well have a good first day and call me if anything goes wrong"

"I will bye mom love you"

"bye sweetie"

And here it goes hinata was ready to take on anything

Not knowing what was lying behind the door to the outside world
