Amu's POV:
Someone knocks on my door downstairs. I jump out of bed and close my laptop before leaving my room. I pat down the stairs and hop the last few steps.
"Coming!" I yell out.
I open the door to a smiling blond boy. My heart lept, Tadase came to see me! He looks me down and chuckles a bit. What?
I look down and see that I'm still in my pajamas. Pink with clouds and all.
"Eeek!" I squeal. "I'll be right back!" I yell and slam the door in front if Tadase.
Oh, my god! I can't believe this! I'll never impress Tadase-kun in Pajama's!
I sprint up the stairs, to my room so I can change. I rip through my closet. 'No.. No.. No.. No, no!' I repeat in my head until I pull out a dark blue plad skirt and a black tank with lace down the back.
I strip hurridy and pull the clothing on, snatching a black choker and blue nuckle-cut gloves off my dresser; putting them on I grab my comb and untangle my hair as quickly as I can before tossing it back on my stand and heading back downstairs.
I glance towards my mirror before leaving my room and freeze. My usual reflection stares back at me but differently somehow. The blues and blacks really suit me, blue and black. Like Ik-
The knocking returns and I suddenly remember that I slammed the door on Tadase. Ooh, mother of Charas!
Once I open the door again he smiles awkwardly and asks if he could come in.
"Uh, sure!" I smile back and he walks in timidly.
Why is he acting so shy? Where is his outgoing personality?
I lead him to the couch and we both sit down awkwardly. The aura is so thick I feel as if I could cut it.
"So, you look.. different." Tadase finally speaks. I look down at myself again, does he not like it?
"Well, yeah I thought that too earlier." I try to respond casually.
"Why are the colours so dark? What about your regular red and pinks?" Red and pinks? Well, I guess I do wear red quite a lot, though I don't wear pink unless I'm .. Amulet Heart.
My heart sinks a bit remembering when Tadase told me he likes Amulet heart.
"Well, I like blue and black. They are very nice colors too." I try a different way around the conversation.
"They are dark and hurtful colors, I think." He showed a sudden look of distaste as he avoided eye contact. Great, now what have I done? I wonder if he is thinking about Ikuto.
Wait, why is Tadase even here? He doesn't usually stop by unexpected like Ikuto does. Gosh darn! Stop, no Ikuto right now!
"Why have you come by?" I shakily question Tadase.
He blushes instantly, "Oh, I was wondering if you'd like to go to lunch with me tomorrow."
I feel my face heat up slowly, "Why didn't you just text me?"
"I wanted to ask you in person," he stands up and avoids my eyes," I have to go somewhere now, so um.. I'll see you tomorrow at 1?"
"Y-yeah." I showed him out and mumbled goodbye when he rushed out the door like he was allergic to me.
I shut the door behind him and sighed in defeat, bashing my forehead against the door.
"Well, I think you look cute." A masculine voice spilt behind me, sending a bolt of shivers down my body.
I turn to see Ikuto sitting on my kitchen table sipping a glass of milk and smirking towards me.
"Why are you here?" I yell at him in frustration and fold my arms heading to my couch and flopping down.
"I was passing by and well, I was thirsty." My eybrow quirked in annoyance.
"I see that." I flatly say.
I look towards my black-screened TV managing an unamused face. The couch cushion next to me sinks down and I look up to a relaxed looking teenager.
"Why are you really here, Ikuto?"
He put his arms on the top of the couch, one behind me and dramatically sighs, "I thought you told me to tell you if I wanted to spend time with you."
My face heats up with anger, I presume and my stomach starts doing small flips. Well, I guess I did. I shift slightly forward so I feel less like his arm is wrapped around me. "Okay, well you could have knocked like Tadase."
"I've already slept here and I have to knock?" He looks at me with a fake hurt expression and my face burns with embarrassment.
"T-that d-doesn't c-count!" I studder in defense,"We were handcuffed t-together!"
He lowers his head towards me and smirks, "Amu, that wasn't the only t-"
He flies back away from me as my palm smashes against his face, "Get away from me!" I yell through my threatening blush, well taking the harsh action.
Right after speaking my last word the fact that I just smacked Ikuto straight in the face clued in. "Oh, my god! Ikuto, I'm so sorry!"
He held his nose and laughed a bit."I'm so sorry, I don't know what I was thinking! I'm so sorry!" I kept repeating myself and kept my hands on his shoulders.
"It's okay, Amu, I got a little too close to the fire-cracker." He chuckled through his hands. I saw blood start seeping through the creases in his hands and my heart started beating radically.
"Oh, my god! Stay right here Ikuto! I'll go get the first aid kit!" I pushed Ikuto back down onto the couch when he tried to get up, "Stay!" I threatened and pointed my finger in his face until he nodded.
I ran upstairs and smashed things around under my bathroom sink until my hand hit the first aid kit and I yanked it out; dragging the box behind me until I got back to the couch. I snatched the tissue box off my coffee table and then moved the table over. I sat on the ground, in front of him, opened the box and forced Ikuto's hands from his nose.
He didn't complain, he just rose his left eyebrow at me and let me continue, thankfully. I dabbed the running blood off of his lips and chin as best as I could and gently wiped the rest off with a wipe from the box. I gently grabbed his chin and made him look up, as I took his hands and wiped the blood off them. His hands were larger then mine, warm and really masculine. It was nice to hold his hands.
I looked up again and saw that he caught me lingering on his hands. My face burnt up fast.
"What are you thinking?" He interrogated and smirked.
"N-nothing!" I replied and wiped whatever trace of blood I thought I didn't get.
"Hah, sure Amu." He winked at me and my heart skipped a phew beats. "This is why I like spending time with you, so very interesting." I blushed again, which felt like the millionth time today.
"I'm sorry that I punched you in the face." He looked at me surprised and smiled.
"Hah, I'm proud. I haven't been dodged like that in awhile!" He exightedly came a little closer to me, "Well, thank you for a little time together. It sure was great." He stood up and I felt cold suddenly.
"Okay, bye.." I rose both eyebrows at him, in confusion., "Why must you go?"
He grins widely, " I'll see you later .
