"May Allah bless this marriage."
The qazi said in a loud voice and the room got echoed with the utterance of Aameen. That was the sign that Zarah and Ryan were now officially husband and wife.
A calmness settled in his heart as he signed those papers. His being felt light because there was only serenity. The fear of losing Zarah was no more, she was his and always be his.
In Shaa Allah!
Hanan came near with a smile and hugged him, "Congratulations bhai."
"Thank you."
He replied and the guests began to come in order to congratulate and bless him. After the noon prayer, the Rukhsati was decided so Zarah would left this place and moved to his house which he had decorated with love.
"Son, it's time for you to meet Zari."
Zarah's father came to inform him and his eyes unknowingly moved to the room at the far corner which was Zarah's. Ryan smiled and nodded his head and followed her father as he ushered him.
His heart was pounding with nervousness, he was going to see Zarah for th first time as his wife. Ryan put his hands inside the pockets to hide the sweat coating the lines of his palms. Zarah's father knocked the door and left him not before mumbling a good luck in a whisper.
Some heart beats gone missing, his mind didn't register few seconds and the air seemed to be stopped as the door opened to reveal Zarah. He never looked at her like he was doing now and he was admitting million times that Zarah Ryan Ahmed was the most beautiful girl he had ever laid his eyes on.
"AsSalamuAlaikum."
The aura around him got broken by Zarah's low voice as she welcomed him with a small smile.
"WalaikumAsSalam."
Ryan replied with a smile moving inside her room. Zarah ushered him to take a seat on the chair beside her bed and sat on the edge of the bed across him.
"Are you happy?"
Ryan didn't find any words to break the ice so he asked the most lame question that came in his mind at which Zarah's cheeks turned pink and she nodded while biting her lower lip.
"Are you?"
Zarah asked with a mischievous smile playing on her lips, "More than you."
Ryan answered forcing her into peals of giggles while he just watched her with awe. He was really lucky! The knock sounded on the door and it was Zarah's mother who was calling both of them for the brunch.
"Coming Mum."
Zarah replied while standing up and just as she was about to move ahead, Ryan held her hand. The feel of her hand in his, crawled a soothing feeling of warmth inside him and he was not a little bit of embarrassed when Zarah turned to look at him in surprise.
"What are you doing?"
She asked him as Ryan pulled her closer to him, encircling his arm around her waist. Her broken, raged breath could be feel on his chin as Zarah bowed her head a little down in shyness, a beautiful smile gracing her features.
"Just to show you that we are married now." Zarah silently watched him after his words and he gingerly placed his lips on her forehead, her hands clutching his shirt tightly.
There were no words to express how much happiness he was feeling just with the entry of this girl in his life.

Zarah greeted her seated family in the backyard dining table and looked at Ryan who was watching her with a smile. This man was now her husband, she was officially now his wife.
It all felt a serene dream and she never wanted to wake up from this dream. She took her seat beside Faiza who was whispering awkward jokes in her ear every now and then. The brunch had started when a man with a baby in his arms came to the table and took his seat beside Ryan not before apologizing to her mother and father for leaving the table.
That man looked like she had seen him somewhere but the baby in his arms who was getting excited seeing her felt too much familiar. As if she had held her in her arms. But how could it be? Zarah had never met that man or that baby ever. Maybe just something odd her mind was making.
"Zarah this is Hanan, my brother in law and this is Maira, his daughter."
Zarah greeted him with a smile and looked at the little girl who was giggling while mumbling something in her baby language, her hands up as if she wanted Zarah to take her.
Zarah left her seat, coming beside Hanan and took the little girl in her arms giggling as Maira sloppily kissed her cheek.
"It feels like I have met her before."
The dining table went into a silence on her words especially Ryan who was looking at her with drained face. What she had said so drastic?
