Stay Out Of Your Coma

   *GASP* I coughed and choked on the oxygen in the air and opened my eyes expecting to see Off or the void, but instead was greeted with white clouds and a blue sky. I sat up and looked around, the grass I was laying on was yellow and dead, but soft in a weird way. I was in the middle of a small field with trees in front and behind me stretching as far as the eye could see across my vision. The field also stretched far, but 1 or 2 miles away on my right side there was a reservoir and   on my left was endless field.
   I lied back down and closed my eyes to take in more through my ears, 3 chickadees a sparrow and 2 robin calls echoed through out the land, but it wasn't the birds that caught my attention, but the voices not to far in front of me in the forests. 20 maybe 30 police officers, a mother in her early 40s (Susan), a 21 year old boy (Lucas), a 16 year old girl (Kat), a 2 year old boy (Tommy) and a 10 year old girl (Casey). A male police officer ran out and kneeled by me. Now let me tell you, I closed my eyes and pretended to sleep faster then a kid hiding from his mom trying to sneak their ds and stay up all night playing animal crossing! The police officer felt my chest for my breath and then felt my neck for my pulse. Then a second female police officer came out of the woods and stood not too far away from me and the male officer.
   "Is he alive?"
   "Yeah, I checked his pulse and breath"
   "How is it?"
   "Well... his pulse is erratic and uneven, and his breath is about the same."
    "Do you think he might be the kid we've been looking for?"
    "I... I don't know." At this point they had caught my attention and interest! I wanted to know what they were talking, but I didn't dare get up, actually no i did think about just sitting up questioning them, but decided against it. One of them picked me up and hauled me back to the rest of the officers and family.
   "Either way we better get him back to the station. If he isn't the kid then we will just have to pick up on this search tomorrow."
