The Problem's With The Cure

Genny's pov____________

Caroline, Tyler and I were making food when Caroline got a phone call "Tell me your not serious" Caroline said shocked over the phone and that is when I decide to listen in. 

"When we got back from looking for Jeremy, Shane and Bonnie were both gone, too. Shane needs Bonnie to cast a spell on Jeremy's tattoo in order to find the cure" I heard Elena say. 

"Well where's Damon in all of this?" Caroline asked. 

"We had a fight, I thought he was just taking a walk but he never came back" Elena sounded sad. 

"Maybe there is something you can do from home" Elena mentioned. 

"Anything. Tell me" Caroline said.

"Shane is looking for the cure. We think we can find him. We just can't translate the map-" Elena said.

"Unless you get the hunter's sword from Klaus" I muttered but knowing vampire hearing she heard.

"Exactly" I heard Elena say. 

"He'll never give it up" I heard Rebekah say. 

"I have to agree with Bekah on this" I said looking at Klaus who is just standing there with his famous smirk. 

"If anyone can make him give it up it's Caroline... Or Genny" I heard Stefan say. 

"I'll find it don't worry, Just email me photo's of Jeremy's tattoo" Caroline said.

"Thanks Care" Elena said before Caroline hung up the phone. 

"Need my help with anything love?" Klaus asked. 

"Nope" Caroline said "You coming? He will be fine for a few hours" She said before we walked out of the house together. 

We gathered as much as we could and went back to the house and Tyler showed up.

"Well if it isn't little orphan Lockwood" Klaus said.

"I'm just trying to help my friends with the cure. Found this in your attic" Tyler pulled out the sword. 

"And you think finding the sword brings you closer to the cure?" Klaus asked bored. 

"You tell me" Tyler said.

"With the magic of the internet Elena sent over the pictures. So all we need to do is cryptex away" Caroline said sitting down opening her computer. 

"You want to help?" I asked Klaus. 

"You might need a English dictionary" Klaus said.

"What's an Aramaic?" Tyler asked. 

"It's a dead language" Caroline said.

"Qetsiyah's nature tongue, I'm guessing.. It could take days to translate" Klaus said.

"Well we don't have days" I said.

Then Klaus spoke in a different language "What does that mean?" Caroline asked. 

"If only you speak Aramaic" Klaus smirked while I sign. 

"Of course you speak it but won't help unless it benefits you" I said.

"Requires a powerful witch and a hunter in a full bloom" Klaus said.

"What are you doing?" Tyler asked. 

"I don't need to tell you my reason" Klaus said.

Klaus started speaking Aramaic a lot. 

"Klaus, what does it mean?" I asked. 

"There's only one dose" Klaus smirked. 

'Oh no' I thought. 

I called Rebekah "Hello?" She answered. 

"Hey, It's Genny were emailing you pictures of the map and instructions" I said over speaker phone. 

Tyler clicked sent "Got it thanks" Rebekah said.

"Actually it was me" Klaus said.

"Nik you helped?" Rebekah asked shocked. 

"You sound so surprised little sister" Klaus said.

"Shouldn't I be? You don't want me to be human. You don't want anyone to" She said.

"Perhaps I want my sister to be happy for once" Klaus said. 

"Fool me once, shame on you.. Fool me a hundred times.." She said.

"No more fools, no more games. I hope you get to live and die as you wish" Klaus said.

"So do I" Rebekah said.

"There is one more thing, Rebekah... There is only one dose of the cure. You need to find it first and take it" Klaus said and we hurried to turn the phone off. 

"Klaus! Why would you do that!" I yelled at him. 

"Motivation for her to retrieve it" Klaus said.

We all stepped outside.

"Well that went well" I said sarcastically. 

"Stefan and Elena will bring back the cure" Caroline said.

"If they get to it first and if they don't Klaus kills me. I need to get out of town and figure out how I am going to stay alive" Tyler reminded her. 

"Wait hang on, let me at least try to talk to him" Caroline said.

"Yeah cause that would work so well" I said.

"He's got nothing to lose Caroline. He's brother is dead and his hybrids are gone, all he wants right now is blood starting with mine" Tyler said.

"I'm not going to say goodbye to you again, do you understand?" Caroline said sad. 

"Looks like we have too" Tyler said. I could tell they wanted to have alone time and just like that I got a phone call and went back inside and walked to Elena's room. 

"Hello?" I answered. 

"Hey babe what are you doing?" Archie asked. 

"I'm just out with my family why what's up?" I asked.

"I was wondering if you wanted to come over?" Archie asked. 

I rub my forehead "I really wish I could but now is not a good time" I said.

"Do you want to talk about it?" Archie asked.

"Not now. But I will explain it all to you later on" I said.

"Ok, I love you" Archie said.

"I love you too" I said and hung up. I walk downstairs. 

"So this boy" Klaus started "What's he like?" Klaus asked. 

"None of your business" I said.

"He makes you happen doesn't he?" Klaus asked. 

"Yes, couldn't say the same about you though" I muttered the last part.

Klaus chuckled "Are we really back to this conversation again?" He asked. 

"Maybe if you a decent vampire for once. Maybe we can talk like normal people" I said.

I heard Caroline crying on the porch so I walk outside and sit next to her and left her cry. 

"I'm so sorry, Care" I said.

Klaus all of a sudden walks out of the house and Caroline and I both stand up on guard. 

"How did you get out?" I asked. 

"I fear something has happen to your friend Bonnie" Klaus said.

"Haven't you done enough" Caroline said.

"I've done more than enough, I've shown you kindness, forgiveness, pity, because of you Caroline it was all for you" Klaus said. 

Klaus looks back at me and nods his head before vamp speeding off.
