This was requested by saltyshima-rex! Sorry this took a bit to get out,i went somewhere on sunday so i couldnt do it 💀 but i did my best and sorry if it isnt as good as what you probally wanted- but anyway here we gooo

Wilbur POV

"Hey niki? Can we go to target? I need to get something" i asked niki from the living room "sure thing!" She replied happily "I'll get my keys! Go out by the car I'll be out in a second" she said getting up to get her things. The way she said it so softly and a bit stern made me feel small,not much but it did,i brushed it off and went to get my shoes to go wait out in the car.

Niki got there and quickly got in the car and we drove to the familiar store. "So what did you need?" She asked cheerfully trying to obviously start a conversation. "Oh,i was juts going to get some food and stuff" "and stuffies" i thought to myself

We got into the store and started going to the food aisle but niki made the mistake making me pass the toys isle,i immediately was intrigued,niki was a bit up ahead,i got distracted,now in between headspace i walked up to the isle,looking at each and every toy for about 10 seconds straight and then moved onto the next toy,i heard niki call for me and that made me slip for some reason,wanting to be held by her and treated like a baby i guess, but i started crying, everyhting seemed so big now,i just wanted niki.

3rd person POV

It seemed wilburs prayers were answered when niki came rushing over to him and immediately brought him into a hug "oh my little boy,are you ok?" Nikk said shushing wilbur slightly, he felt so tiny,so Wilbur just nodded "how old are you bubbles?" She smiled softly. He held up 2 fingers,then 3, then 2 again. "Aw it's ok little one,let's just get you a toy and some snacks hm?" She laughed and smiled picking wilbur up and going to help him pick out a toy,some people stared as they walked by,seeing a grown man with a slightly shorter women holding him,but they didnt care. Wilbur chose a stuffed fox that would make crinkling noises when you squished it. When they went to check out some lady behind them glared at them,niki glared back, the lady proceeded to say "tch,grown man getting a baby toy" niki over heard and flipped her off,and went on as if it didn't happen,even if the lady tried giving her a lecture,they left and went home after a long day.
