The moment I reached home, I was really itching to get to my room and lay down on my warm bed. Yes the snow is very pretty but it's still cold and windy, it's a hassle. Though the sight in front of me made me stop before I could even reach our gate.
Three motorcycles are lined in front of the Akashi's house. Just earlier I thought I might see him again and failed, now the same feeling started activating in me. My feet started taking steps towards the house.
My pace quicken and I immediately pushed the gate open, not bothering to ask for permission. I barged into the house, my heart beating even faster as I heard the male voices just in the living room.
Asuka-chan said he's busy at the shop. So he's not here right? But, I just have to take a look. I need to check whether he really isn't here.
My heart pounded loudly in my chest while I take steps towards the living room. The very moment I came in, I was welcomed by three boys... knitting?
Takeomi looked up when he noticed my presence. "Oh? 'Sup witch!" He greeted me and then went back to knitting.
"Wh-what are you guys doing here?" I asked, looking at the colorful yarns around them and the knitting tools they're holding.
"Huh?" Benkei-kun looked up at me with furrowed eyebrows. "It's called knitting, I thought you are a smartass?" He answered, looking at me with a confused gaze.
"I-I mean, yeah, I know that- what I was saying is wh-"
"Oh! (Y/N)!"
I stopped talking and then turn around to look at granny who just came in the living room. She reached me, gently holding me by my forearm, and then smiled at me.
"So you're here to learn knitting too?" She asked. Before I could even answer her though she already pushed me down on the spot next to Benkei-kun on the couch.
"Uhm, granny, I act-"
"Now now, here hold this." She said and then handed me two wooden needles and a bunch of red yarn, ignoring what I was trying to say.
"I'll teach her granny!" Benkei-kun excitedly volunteered. Granny looked at him with this warm look on her face, nodding with a smile.
"Oh sure, my dear." She agreed and pat his head once before going back to where she came from earlier.
I let out a breath the moment she left. I then look down at the tools given to me, awkwardly picking up the two wooden needles. I then turned to Benkei-kun who's already looking at me.
